When do you start to decorate?

I bought a new tree this year two weeks before Thanksgiving.  It has lights built in.  I started putting ornaments on the week afterwards.  I haven't put the lights on my balcony yet, but I hope to soon.  I still have two trees left in my storage unit, so I think I will put them up before too long.  I like having Christmas decorations early because I always feel like Christmas is over so fast.

I usually put up my tree on Thanksgiving weekend, but that didn't happen this time, so I guess I'll be doing it this weekend. My neighbors were really on the ball, though! A bunch of houses had lights up Thanksgiving night!

I usually put up our tree after Thanksgiving, but I put it up a little earlier this year because I got really bored and needed something to do.

We put the lights up on the outside of the house at the end of October while the weather was nice, but didn't turn them on. We put the tree up at least a week before Thanksgiving. I usually wait until after, but it just feels like it's not up long enough that way.
