Title: Making my own anime DVDs
Post by: bright rabbit 1 on April 06, 2017, 12:00:03 PM
I'm downloading and burning anime onto DVDs  here's a lust:

Kohime Mousu (Three Kingdom anime where all if the characters are female)

Digimon (both the English dub and the English sub)

Sailor Moon (Japanese with English subs because they have the episodes that weren't shown here in the U.K)

Also be doing My Little Pony G1 specials movie and episodes.

I would advise you don't burn to disc. The lifespan of a home-burned disc is about 2 years.

My husband and I have more than 5 TB of anime - most was on discs. We have had the worst struggle ripping it back. Many of them are very old shows that may never see re-release!!

Keep it digital and backed up on as many HDD as you can afford. Our datacentre has about 12 drives in it....

I have everything backed up on a memory stick.

I burned CDs and some lasted seven years. I think it depends on the type of CDs and DVDs you buy to burn things on.

I had cheap blank CDs and the only lasted two weeks before they stopped working.
