Ponies...

How long have you been collecting? Actually not very long. The G4 blind bags are where it all recently began for me, as I was/continue to be a collector of similarly format'd Puppy in my Pocket from childhood. The similarities between these two ranges makes the G4’s so attractive to me.

Which generations of ponies do you collect? It is all about the pocket-sized G4 blind bags for me. Got my collecting pony blinkers on I'm afraid!

What made you want to collect ponies? I think it is possibly nostalgia that fuels it. As forementioned, I like the blind bag format and it was via these pocket money small toys that I first got into My Little Pony and discovered this whole parallel universe of characters. A friend introduced me to MLP and I was hooked in an instant. I like the card-figure combo. It quite resembles nineties toys. Plus they do not hog too much space but are real miniature works of art.

Tell us about your collection: It is at the formative stage. Very much so. From acorns grow great oaks though and a collection is a life’s pursuit after all. I exclusively collect G4 MLP blind bag toys and the inner OCD/high orderly standards in me tries to match the charcters up with their corresponding cards whereever possible. I don't tend to buy lone figures, if I can help it. Being from the UK, I have experienced difficulty locating older wave figures to backtrack and fill the yawning gaps I missed first time round at the start. I am hoping this forum can possibly assist me with this goal.

Blind bag toys are very popular, super cute, and portable! I don't collect many, but I have a list of ones that I'd like to obtain. I always try to get cards with them as well! Hopefully you can get the ones you're missing, enjoy the forums!

Blind bags are so tiny but easier to have many more of them and not so much of a space issue
