Her muzzle is the only issue with the black. It does not come off, so is the solution to sunfade her?

No clue what that is on Hollywood, but the issue with Cloud Puff is regrind.   Nothing you can do about regrind, other than let it run its course.   It isn't contagious to other ponies, so no worries there.

Edit to add:  The purple areas are actually Cloud Puff's original body color, the larger pink areas are the regrind.

Huh! I've got a Raspberry Jam who has a similar mark on her muzzle! I have no clue what it either. :(

Everywhere but her little flutter mechanism.   The plastic used in that is different from the body plastic, so it will stay purple.

I wonder why Cloud Puff is so ridiculously susceptible to regrind like that o.0 I don't think I've ever seen one with more original body color than regrind...

I'm not sure, but besides the pink regrind, my cloudpuff also has glow in the dark regrind... really only shows up after being under a black light for a few seconds, then the glow fades really fast.

How odd that Hollywood has a black muzzle - sunfading may work?

Just since ppl are talking about never seeing a regrind-free Cloud Puff, here is one I sold earlier this year - not a dot of pink on her :)

Maybe Hollywood's previous owner wanted to give her some patterns! What did you try cleaning her with?

I know that girl :)...I think she might live around here somewhere...

Regrind is a proper wicked thing! We only see it in some ponies as regrind was probably used only in some batches, or the mix may simply on occasion be more susceptible to starting to break down or some colour matches may be poorer so it "shows" more apparent.

I cant even guess on the Hollywood but I would suspect as others have said its a previous owner deciding she needed a coloured muzzle! Sunfading is your best bet...

Hollywood looks like she's got a five o' clock shadow XD I think sunfading might help, I have never heard of a Hollywood with regrind issues before. I didn't know Cloudpuff could get it, though. Such a shame, it will be hard finding her in good condition when I want to complete my flutter collection. :/

Yup, that's a case of regrind all right!  The "dark" spots are actually her proper color, the pink is all regrind.

Hollywood looks like her muzzle got dunked in something that stained.  Sunfading might work, but cover up the rest of her.
