We've had a few nasty instances of ant invasions at my boyfriend's place, recently. A few weeks ago they completely coated the inside of an old glass Coke bottle I was using as a vase (it had no flowers, but I'd previously put a little sugar in the water to keep them alive longer. They had formed a bizarre raft of ants across the surface of the water). Then, the other day, it was a seemingly innocent wooden box (all over the inside, complete with carrying their eggs.) Earlier this morning, we found some living in the front door. And now, it's Octavia D: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginWe put her in a plastic bowl with some Ant-Rid crystal stuff to kill them all off. They're getting inside her body through the seam between her white collar and her hair, and there are a lot more than there are in the picture, too. It was a horrifying thing to discover. This is a pony! One of our favourite ponies! Why?! Could they be after the sugar in the glue, I wonder? [edit for image size ~ many thanks ~ hathorcat]

I saw a Simba plushie just like this one, once, that got left behind in a supermarket! I was entranced- my Simba had the same face, but he was made in a sitting pose. So glad you could be reunited

Well after much delay i finally have the shipping confirmation that I'll have all of the supplies i need tomorrow...
I apologize to everyone eagerly awaiting the final result and your pre-ordered figure. Looks like i'm going to be making the molds this weekend (the clay I got for the two part molds didn't work so I had to get different clay which is coming along with the rest of the supplies)
and then hopefully i'll have something cool to show you by the end of next week. I'm going to try and finish the instruction booklet for the Kit version of Luna tonight so expect an update on that tomorrow.
Fast approaching the finish line now

I find that even a nice, warm, wet facewasher (/facecloth?) in the morning works wonders for your spirit and your skin.

I'm going to be really disappointed if that is Scootaloo's official cutie mark. It doesn't fit her personality or talents at all.
I mean, if it were a hardcore metal butterfly with skulls on its wings then MAYBE? Even then I can't think of any explanation for a butterfly symbol that isn't really contrived.
I didn't like that symbol in G3 either, it looks so clip-arty and generic.
It's been implied her talent is dancing and I think a butterfly fits that well. Maybe even better than Fluttershy.
I think cutie marks have a lot to do with personality, and the moment that you get your cutie mark, as well as talent. Fluttershy's probably got more stock in a butterfly cutie mark because when she fell out of the sky when she was little, she was rescued by a cloud of butterflies. Also it fits her personality: gentle. And her name- it rhymes, and butterflies flutter! I have a very hard time seeing Scootaloo's talent as dancing. I think the only episode we've seen to support that theory was The Show Stoppers, whereas I think it's much more likely that Scootaloo's talent is going to be something scooter-related. It fits with her name, we've seen that she is exceptionally talented with it before in many episodes, and it fits with her tomboyish-ness. Scootaloo hates girly stuff, and she's not exceptionally graceful, so I think it's quite unlikely to be a butterfly- far more probable that they recycled G3 cutie marks!
