Goldilocks' entire mane is cut, and toward the bottom it's cut to the roots:

Scootaloo has a really bad tail cut, shorter toward the top, longer toward the bottom, she also has her mane cut toward the front (making it look like a forelock):

This reminds me so much of the last Leicester Ponycon and Lady G buying Thailand Thundercloud and a boy's hat to keep his cut forelock under wraps I forget which hat it was, but it became part of his apparel after that

I don't like haircuts but I do have quite a few rescued ponies with some of these issues. Unfortunately they're not photographed because I mostly photo my ponies to put on the website and that requires the presence of hair where possible. I do have a Rainbow Storyteller with a buzz cut and half a tail though. Tragic for a Rainbow Curl Pony.

I don't like haircuts either but most of my  haricut ponies were sent to me by someone who offered me free ponies (not mentioning the condition they were in) and when they arrived several had mane and tail cuts. The Sparkle Baby was sent to me for winning a contest but I didn't complain because the person was very nice to offer a prize  for winning. I can't bear to get rid of my haircut ponies though.
