To those in the US shipping internationally - the USPS jacked up international shipping prices by as much as 60% yesterday

a 4 pound box sent to Australia OR the United ingdom via 1st class International is $40 Dollars according to the USPS website. It dosent matter if its a box or padded envelope - i got the same price on their website for both.

Priority mail in a flate rate medium box sent internationally is $60

Oh dear.....that's not good news at all. :/ It may make me refrain from doing international shipping in all future swaps.

That sucks! Canadian shipping is expensive and I figured it may cost me up to $30 to ship my box but, holy cow, a 60% hike is crazy. Sorry to hear such bad news for my US friends.

I'd rather not. I don't like lotions and I am still stocked up on soaps from Christmas xD

Holy cow!! A 60% increase is ridiculous. I bet if enough people complain...they'd have to lower it.

if the shipping's gonna cost more than the swap itself... i don't want to cut any of the fun stuff out. like extras or whatever. man this so stinks!!!

UPS is probably worth looking into. We have 2 months before ship date, but still..

Wow, this is a total bummer. I figured it would be around $60 to mail my box.....wow, it will probably cost close to $100. OMG!!

I am not sure how accuare the USPS website is but those are the prices I got for a 4 pound package.

There is always UPS and FED EX but they have always been on the pricy side to begin with.

I would go to the PO and ask what it will cost

I just went on UPS & calculated a 4 lb box to Alberta, Canada from Phoenix, AZ for $34.35 using UPS Standard (6 business day delivery), so I'd see what they say at a UPS.

No to body wash or bubble bath. I use a lot of lotion, but only unscented.
