Ugh. Why aren't ponies allowed to look like ponies anymore? Y'know, like horses? EQUINES?? They look like brachycephalic.
I was just thinking... imagining an MLP collector in the 80s looking at these images of what MLP looks like now. Would they even guess that they're ponies?!

Some pony designs look so alien compared to 99% of the other ponies. I'm not talking about a bit of chubbyness or facial hair or whatever. I'm talking about ponies who's body build is so vastly different that you almost wonder if they are a different specie. While i like some of those designs at the same time i think they are a bit distracting.
I think vastly different, exaggerated or wacky-looking characters is part of the appeal - in a lot of cases it serves as an actual part of the comedy.. Like caricatures. It's very refreshing for me to see this kind of comedy in MLP. I don't think it's ever been done before in previous generations. It feels more diverse instead of perpetually stuck in a kind of one-dimensional saccharine world.

I buy my pony tees from RedBubble. They aren't official, but their women's tees are made to fit women. If official merch companies want my money, they'll just have to start filling out their stock to fit me.

All I see is a Blossomforth going for the ridiculous price of £11.99 on Amazon UK. How insane is that?!
I don't know what it is about these ponies but I just can't seem to find any here, or on any of the UK websites. Anyone else finding these ones particularly hard to get hold of in the UK?

I think local newsagents might be less reliable than the big retail shops - the same thing happened with my local. I'd definitely advise checking out your local big Tesco for them.

I've caved in and bought me one of these! They were selling a lot at my local Tesco.
I will take pictures and also do a video review for you guys who want to see everything inside, etc!

The new voice is atrocious - she now has a HIDEOUSLY generic, overly saccharine voice which doesn't suit her actual character whatsoever. Great. Well done all those who sent hysterical letters to Hasbro.

I know they aren't definitively "rare" but wave 3 ponies are incredibly difficult for me to find here in the UK. I can't even find any anywhere online for any UK sites.

No kidding I seriously think this has become some kind of addiction with me... I see pony. I buy pony.
Every time I buy a pony I think "Ahh this will be my last for a while now ^_^" and then BAM!! I see more and I have to get them!! >.< There's just something ABOUT ponies... argh!!
