Hello oh knowledgeable pony peeps!
I am curious if anyone knows anything about this rosette featuring Seashell and what it might have come with etc back in the day? I haven't seen another. I wonder if it was something you could buy to give as a birthday gift or prize perhaps?

It doesn't look like that to me :/
It is familiar but I can't think why...
But Club stuff usually has Hasbro UK on it. That doesn't.

It could have done...and it not having Hasbro UK on doesn't mean it's not from them somehow. Just the club stuff that I have (drink mat, bag, pencil case etc) all do say Hasbro UK on them.
If a competition then an early one because of the pony and the lack of Hasbro UK marking? If originating here in the UK...?
I feel like I have seen something like it before. But I don't remember where.

I googled B-Loony Ltd and they are still around! https://www.b-loony.co.uk/ They seem to specialize in birthday party stuff. My guess is they sold licensed "pony prizes" that parents could buy to give out as awards at kids' birthday parties (like for party games and stuff.)
Just a guess. What a cool item.

Ooh. Yeah, would have been helpful to have that too xD That changes things. I guess LM is probably right :) The year seems about right for MLP, but predates the Club I *think* so more likely to be that.

Could it have come with a birthday card? I remember seeing other rosettes like this on birthday cards in the 90’s.
