For V-day my man surprised me with the new swimsuit DL and Lagoona. 

I don't have a scalper problem in my town... it's the other moms and collectors! I run into collectors all the time. We are all after the same thing and there's not many to go around. 

Aside from that... $40 with free shipping on ebay for Catrine really isn't that bad. I sat and broke the fees/costs down while I was contemplating buying one...

These rides are repainted all the time. Sometimes every year if they are in a busy area. It would be near impossible to find one that hasn't been.  These get used hard for decades. Chances are it was finally removed from service because someone realized the collectible value of MLP. There's probably many many layers under that blue.

I would love to have one of these! I wish I had the room and the money to fly my fav custom artist over to repaint it. *dreams*
