How dare you ask me this when my TP holder just decided to suicide and fall INSIDE the toilets?

It's not our own house, so we can't just screw the thing on the wall, we have to use these stupid suction cups ... since we bought this holder I knew it was going to end up badly as it fell down every 2 days, I finally decided to superglue it to the wall, seemed to work, we leave for one night, come back and BAM! ... no more holder ... we bought a new oe, same system, hope he'll hold longer!

Ah, and under, of course, unrolls better ^^

There's a right way to hang toliet paper? Wow I didn't think you guys were so passionate about this . I'm still confused about how it's under or over? It's a roll so it's kind of both.

True and amusing story: My grandmother hung her toilet paper with the end hanging over the top so my mom does and I do to.  To me it was the only way that made sense.  One day I asked my grandmother, "When did you decide to hang toilet paper this way?"  Her answer?  "My mother insisted the only correct way was under so as soon as I had a place of my own I hung mine the other way!" 

P.S. As for cats... My husband's cat found toilet paper to be a fun toy (my cat has never been so active) so the first time I went to his place I couldn't find the toilet paper.  It was in a metal covered holder.  We still have the holder and use it for spare toilet paper but we have the toilet paper on the roll holder too (rolled over, of course).  Did I break his kitty of his bad habit?  No, rather his kitty is such a playful one that he broke a number of bath and beauty items by knocking them off shelves, so he has been banished from the bathroom and we keep the door closed now!

Under the roll. Hubby puts it over the roll. I turn it round.

Wow! Your husband puts toilet paper on the roll? That's the most amazing thing I've ever heard. That's why ours sits on the counter. I finally decided it wasn't worth the struggle and went with it.

And kudos for knowing the right way to hang it!

we used to hang our toilet paper on the hanger but my son kept getting the rolls and throwing them down the toilet. The roll now sits up high on top of the toilet

mine just stands on the top of the little drawer next to the toilet - I couldn't hang it even if I wanted to, as it's about 5 times thicker than a usual roll. dad runs a firm that's around toilet papers and paper kitchen towels, and they make these super long rolls (which I get for free ^^ ).

I love under-rollers, over-rollers, vertical-rollers and even on-the-counter rollers. The no-rollers-at-all might get a look from me, (and maybe even a ) but not hate.
