Anyone collect Calico Critters?

I just got two kittens and I had no idea they had all these families.

I collect the Sylvanian Families and I also have some Calico Critters and a case/home but I think I'll eventually sell or trade the Calico Critters.  I'm very fond of my old childhood Sylvanian Families!

I have some calico critters from when I was little! I loved them so much, they were my favourite toys.
I'd like to buy more sometime, especially sets. I have a bedroom and a kitchen set. I'd like to get a bathroom one someday. c:

I have the most of a family of hamsters and half a family of guinea pigs. I adore them.

I've always wanted to start collecting them when I discovered them here on the arena when I first started off collecting ponies, but the prices are scary high for me.

I had Sylvanian families when I was a child! The cute little riverboat.. I think I passed it along to some younger relations, as it was passed down to me.

I love them but they've always been too pricey for my budget.    I have a bunny I found at the thrift store and a mouse from my childhood.

As for the price, I dont think they are so high: the single G4 ponies cost about 12-14$ here

I used to have a very extensive Sylvanian Families collection, but I've scaled down recently.  I still love the ones I have very dearly.  I don't have any Calico Critters, though.

I see these all the time at toy stores and they are frickin adorable! I wouldn't buy any for myself but maybe I should get some for my niece.... Yeah... for her.

The makers of Sylvanian Families (at the time, TOMY) lost the rights to use that name in the US and Canada in '93 so they reintroduced the line under a new name: Calico Critters.

I had sylvanian families when I was growing up - I had the little house and furniture and everything. I LOVED them. Now I just want to get the hedgehog babies ^_^
