Will princess Candence replace Celestia?

Brides get all the attention, don't they?  I doubt she'll replace her.  We'll just see pink Cadence and white Celestia, and everything will be just fine.

Cadence may pop up from time to time, but she won't replace Celestia or Luna.

Nah, Celestia has a special friendship with Twilight and the others too. They won't just let that go. Though I do wonder if we'll see more of Shining Armor after this, now that we know he exists.

I'm confused as to why you'd even think that. Celestia has to raise the sun, why would she be replaced. Candence is simply her relative.

Pfft. Celestia is the main plot device by which the main characters recite their morals every week. "Dear Princess Celestia..." They'd have to veer WAY off the guidelines for the show to downplay her.

I'm with the others who are saying that Cadence is pretty much a straight-up marketing insert. Like Twilight's balloon, or the train.

...No. I'm not even sure why you'd think that...? I mean they're just trying to keep things exciting (I guess?) with Cadance and her storyline. But I don't see why they'd completely redo the whole concept of Celestia and Luna when they're a huge part of the series.

I agree with Evie, brides get all the attention and there's probably nothing more to it than that.  Celestia is a very big part of the show and I doubt that will ever change.

Celestia is a pretty focal part of the show...I think as someone else has said we ll Cadence with the same regularity as Zecora and other minor bit part characters...

  Well thanks for all the replys guys. I guess I just got a little to into the show. I just figured that since sometimes royalty such as a queen for example might step down once her younger heir gets married and can take on her kingdom. And imgaine what a wedding gift it would be to take charge of all of Equstria and have to raise the sun every morning. More of a curse you'd never sleep in again .  But if you think about it Celestia did take over for Luna for a thousand odd years or so and Twi learn Rarity's gem finding spell. But after reading this I don't think they will replace Celestia as it would be a very risky thing to do. As for the toyline well anything is possable there.
