Hey guys, I was just wondering about this as I have a vague memory of there being a rule against this sort of thing but I wanted to double check;
I'm from South Africa and there's an SA Nirvana pony currently being sold on one of our local auction sites. She's listed as "Sunlight". The seller is aware of the value so she's not cheap, but she was up for auction for 2 months before the auction expired and she's just been relisted. I'm guessing the very high price is not hooking local collectors.

Anyway, my question is - the auction is not mine and it's obviously not on the Arena itself. So am I allowed to link to it or anything like that?

I just want her to find a home with a collector who knows what she's worth and I worry when I see non-collectors sell rare ponies like this. I always worry they'll think nobody wants them and throw them away since my country isn't big on toy conservation

Hey guys! So I recently decided despite having quite a few of them, I would much rather have G1 ponies than the G4 funko ponies I've collected over the years (with the exception of one or two I'd like to keep)

However, I'm not very sure of what their real value is these days. And since I'm offering them up for trade to the local G4 fans, I'd like to know what I should consider a good trade or not. I don't want to accidentally trade a pretty valuable funko for like a Peachy covered in marker or something

So I was just wondering if somebody could give me if not a Price check, just some "that's a funko that's harder to find and you should ask for a good trade for" advice as I don't like having these ponies and not having any kind of idea as to their value.

I probably won't sell them for money, but as I said from a trading stand point I guess I'm asking for some pointers?

The Funkos I have I'm willing to trade are;

Vinyl Scratch, Bon bon, Lyra, Princess Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Dr. Whooves (with green tie), Pony, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, I THINK I might have Octavia? (I've packed some of them for a move) I think I might also have Spitfire.

Honestly I think the only ones I'd like to keep are Discord, Big Mac and probably Spike.

These are all standard ones btw. Not the transparent or glittery ones.

Also I highly doubt Pops are worth anything at all but I also have Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash funk pops.

Any help would be very appreciated! <3

Her hair is rough on the ends but soft everywhere else, she has one or two tiny black spots on her that my magic eraser wouldn’t get rid of, and weirdly her one side’s apples are smudged but like… It looks like it was smudged at the factory?

She’s really sweet tho.
Again just as bragging rights, this is a South African Applejack I paid $14 for (at current exchange rate)

Someone on the arena asked for a photo of her and my South African Starshine together. Sadly Starshine had a rougher backstory it seems X'D

Also she's not for sale ;w; just thought I'd mention that. She and Starshine are probably the onyl ponies I own that are actually worth something X'D Apart from Night Glider I guess?

As for the site, it's a local South African bidding site called BidorBuy. They sometimes have G1s up for sale but I tend to be very frustrated because they sell their G1s way too overpriced! (example: there's currently a Streaky for sale with large highlighter stains, matted and frizzed hair and age spots going for $15) Not to mention they sell that Target released Discord "heroes of Equestria" figure for $100+
But in this case I was very lucky! The seller seems to mostly sell video games for reasonable prices so they don't seem to really be a dedicated pony seller.

This is only the 3rd time I've ever seen a South African pony at all! So even in South Africa they are extremely rare.

So I just logged onto my local bidding site just to show my mom an interesting fake up for sale for $5 when the first result was a "buy now" South African Applejack for $20 which I immediately grabbed before someone else could.

So... just out of curiosity, how much is she currently going for online? I know South African ponies are sought after so I'm curious because I know it's at least more than $20 (hopefully)

Hey guys!
A Snowdrop is currently available on my country's local bidding site and I've been eyeing her for a few days now since she's just a little bit pricey. However my mom has offered that she might want to buy her for me for Christmas!

However, I have no idea what Snowdrop is currently selling for and the seller seems to have a bad habit of over-charging for some of her ponies. And I just want to make sure that this is an alright price for Snowdrop.

Her condition seems relatively fair. Her hair looks a little dry but it doesn't seem cut, and she has a smudged eye as well as various small smudges I can see on the photo.

The seller is asking, in my currency, R220 for her (plus shipping)
At the current exchange rate this would be $16 (because the Dollar is insanely strong)
Or, to put it in perspective, the same price in this country you would pay for a full meal at an expensive restaurant.

Would this be considered a fair price for her in this condition?
Please let me know ASAP as he auction closes on the 8th! And it's my Christmas present!
