I'm trying to decide what to start an army of--it's now between Cotton Candy, Flutters, and Parasol. Bow Tie keeps trying to tempt me, too.  Such hard choices to make. Cotton Candy is winning right now, though.

Anyways, I would love to see other peoples armies! Maybe it will inspire me!  So pretty please, post pics of yours!!

Im now going to collect Cotton Candy!   Only 3 so far and one's bald, but it's a start!

I'm going to suggest an early G1 as far as G1s go, as they tend to be more common and there are many fun variants to collect and add variety to the army. A Peachy army is a great idea, as people are seemingly plagued by Peachies. It makes an army a lot easier if the pony is common.

If generation isn't an issue, Mane 6 members are really easy to get accidental armies of.  I have two, potentially three, but they're comparably small compared to some armies I've seen online. Fluttershy is my largest, and it includes a Funko, 3 McD's, a brushable, a BABW plush, and the G3 plush.

You can also have a themed army, like a star symbol army or white pegasus army. These have a lot of variety and can be fun.

I've seen that army is a pretty loose term so just run with it. I might get a pic of my Flutters and Pinkies, as those are the only real armies I have (I only have 3 Rarities, but I accidentally encounter her often). Some are really crazy and I'd love to see pics, too.

Someone around here has the most amazing Bubbles army- that is my favorite army, especially the customs...  I LOVE BUBBLES!

Agree that FIM ponies are easy to accumulate armies of (difficult to not have armies of, at least with the mane 6!)

Here is my Fluttershy army! It was totally unintentional...

I never get tired of seeing these ponies armies! :) I have some but they are all in the curio cabinets and most are still in there boxes with other ponies.

Not sure if this really counts as an army (at most, it's a division).  But I do have a number of Pinkies.  I also have a growing number of Twilights and Celestias, as well.

Surprise has always been my favourite pony, and when I first swap people collecting armies of certain ponies, I wanted to have my own.

Here they are, minus 1 adult and 5 more babies who are with me in China at the moment.

I try not to collect army's - I mean just my G1 collection alone takes over half my room... but I do have some mini army's - which basically happens when I can't decide which pony to choose...

 -all 4 of these reside on my pony shelf. Actually at the time before I thinned it down to these 4 I had a whopping 21 Firefly's....

I do have a small dragon army - this is actually somewhat intentional...
