How do you organize your baits?
« on: August 08, 2023, 06:47:57 AM »
I'm wondering how everyone else does this.  Right now I have my baits sorted by gen, but then they're just kind of stuffed into those reusable grocery bags so when I want a bait I end up pulling out the whole bag and dumping them all to figure out which bait I want.

I'm considering making an inventory of my baits in Excel, where I have a picture of each pose that I have and then how many of each pose that I have so I don't have to do that.    :wonder:

It would also be helpful when I see baits for sale and wonder if I currently have some of that pose.

I keep my unprepped baits in a big plastic tote. The G4s and McDonald's G3s are inside bags in the tote. My prepped baits go in my desk drawer or up on my shelf. It's not very organized and when I'm looking for something I pull everything out

I try to organize them by gen, and I have a bin of “small baits” which is babies, G4 and flutter ponies/summer wings, but from there it gets… hairy. There’s still a lot of bin-dumping and aimless searching whenever I need a specific bait! :lmao:

I don't. They're all tossed in a file crate, and I dig for what I want. LOL.

 I don't have so many of them that I need to sort them out. So they are in the same plastic box.

I was wondering the same thing the other day, I'm glad you asked! I don't feel bad either then for all my baits are in one medium tote along with those that need to be restored (in my collection) All other supplies are in a nice art box that I got for a Christmas Present that holds Paint, paint brushes, Varnish, Both gloss and matte, Apoxie Sculpt in one of the compartments on top and Decals in the other compartments on top of the art box. Its really nice I'm running out of space so I need another art box to hold the Mod podge, glitter, hair, and anything else I need to use to use to customize a pony / restore a pony.
