I have a near mint mommy with no babies and was wondering the price? Also the mechanism still works.

Sorry to bump this from the depths of pony abyss but I was wondering what a Surprise TWins Mommy is worth complete with babies, but without a working mechanism and one of the babies is damaged (chipped paint/fading)? Racking my brain trying to figure out.. thanks

They can be a weird set and bump all over the place on price. Twins and mum used to sit up at the $200+ mark but more recently they seem to be $100 sometimes pushing to $120. However its such a significant dip in price often you will see them priced higher and sold higher especially if being sold internationally perhaps closer to the $150 mark.

Even with a broken mechanism? Does damage to the babies devalue them at all? Thanks again for your reply

The broken mechanism knocks value off the cheaper part of the set - i.e. the mum - maybe $8-10 off her price. That assumes the door is still in place, just that it no longer closes (this is really common with this item).

As for the babies, they are very very easily scuffed from general play wear so minimal wear does not dent their price too much. Also as they are so hard to find so a lot of people are happy to accept a little issue.

How bad is the damage?
