Here are some ponies I created for a Halloween private swap with Prideth! They are actually my first G1 customs, as I've only worked with G4s in the past. Interestingly, she decided to do her first G4 customs in exchange (though you would never know it)!
Jack-o'-Lantern Pony:

The black areas are actually where I cut away the plastic. Her insides are painted black.
A LED candle fits inside so she glows! Alternatively one could use a glow stick.

Carmel Apple Pony (I've been calling her Cuddles the Candied Apple, since she's a Cuddles bait):

I'm a bit of a beginner, so it was such a privilege to find a private swap partner! I'm glad she said she likes them! Keep an eye out for her creation if she posts, because I received AMAZING works of art from her. Definitely beyond a beginners level.
I'm absolutely in the Halloween spirit after this project, receiving such and amazing box in return, and seeing all your creations on the custom board! Halloween is an excellent time to be apart of this forum.

Those are so cute! Love them both!

Wow great job! I love the Jack-o-Lantern pony-idea, do her eyes glow too? Very cool!

Her eyes, glow, but it's hard to capture on camera, since they glow more dimly from the candle being farther away. Placing a glow stick in her neck would probably make her glow more brightly.

You're insanely talented. Wow! Hurry up and get feedback so I can get paired with you in a swap! :silly: (or not seeing as I'm not sending swap ponies to the US ever again after the latest fiasco  )
But really, beautiful ponies <3

I adore my ponies!! They're so much more amazing in person! Even the teeny tiny nostrils are cut out and glow when the light is on! They're gorgeous!
I only considered licking the caramel apple pony a few times. It looks so real. I'm gonna lick it.

Both of them are absolutely fabulous! I love how creative they both are, great concepts and you executed them so well! The caramel apple baby looks good enough to eat and I love the Jack-o-Lantern pony, it looks fantastic all lit up. The pumpkin top is such a cute idea!

You did an amazing job! I love that the jack-o-lantern pony glows! And the caramel pony looks like you dunked her in real caramel. She's precious!

Thanks for all the compliments and encouragements! I'm considering doing another private swap for Christmas... :)
If anyone is wanting to try caramel on their ponies, it's very simple! All you have to do is mix the color paint you want with glossy modge podge and pour. Careful; you'll be creating a few small bubbles. I used a tac to drag some of the mixture into smaller drips.

Those are both very good! I love the first one! :)
