Dose Filly Princess count as a fakie?

Well I've been bitten by the Filly Princess bug and I want to know if we count them as fakies or not.

I know in my head, if it's not a Hasbro MLP, it's a fakie. That's not to mean it's a direct rip off of Hasbro's mold/design, they're just not MLP. It's the easiest way for me to tell family/friends what ponies to bring me if they find 'em.

I always considered "fakies" those ponies you find in the dollar stores with names like "Demon Donkey" and "My Small Horse" that use either Hasbro molds or something very similar. I don't tend to count them as fakies if they look very different from the Hasbro ponies. Then I consider them "other pony toys".

I consider them fakies -- just very detailed ones. I have four, one of which is a Filly Unicorn from Poland.

To me they almost seem like they could be blind bag fakes. I got mine at TRU. Ironically it was in a MLP bling bag box, so I though what the hey, why not and brought it too. Now I must have more!

I have a whole bunch still in their BB packaging... like, 50 of them.  I use them as extras in trades and the like.

I think they aren't.  I mean they aren't my little pony, but they aren't trying to be.  To me fakies are the ones that are trying to be in some fashion.  So a CPK pony isn't a fakie, but they have fakies which are

^This for me to. If something is setting out to "copy" Hasbro and the MLP brand then yes = fakie. However, there are a lot of toy lines which are ponies or include ponies in their own right - they are not impersonating Hasbro/MLP and are therefore their own line and not fakies. Some pony toy lines even had elements before Hasbro showed them so maybe Hasbro are copying! For example the Twilight pony line came with cute little animal friends before Hasbro launched G4.

BUT....I do understand that some collectors will simply say "not made by Hasbro" = fakie...
