For me it's SS Paradise.
Everyone else seems to have her but I don't think I've seen her once!

To be honest, the only g1s I saw in real life were thrift finds.
I never found a surprise though, she seems common.

Cotton Candy. In all the bait lots I've bought through the years I've never had one.

Medley, I've never seen her outside of photos. Not even the BF one.

Up until I did my first online trade, I'd say Medley, Skyflier...Powder. I never have seen any version of those at a second hand sale here even now, not even Italian ones. I occasionally used to see Italian ponies at the carboot, so we did pick up Firefly, Surprise and Heart THrob that way, but not the other three. I traded for all the early unicorns and pegasus ponies except Moondancer and Glory with people online.
I don't think there's a common G1 I've never seen now. But there are quite a few G3s. Unfortunately I'm very bad with names. But I see them often on ebay and never in real life. Like for example the blue and yellow (?) one with the 3d symbol. I've never seen her, not even when they were in stores.
For a long time into my trading as well, I had never seen a HK Sundance. I have one now but it took a lot of years xD.
Thinking about it, I've still never seen a Chinese summer wing pony. I have the Frankenpony who has buzzer's body and bits of others, and she's made in China. But I've never actually seen a normal one made in China. Only HK ones.

Any second set/year 3 Rainbow ponies. So, a really, really, really, really nice Confetti, I've never seen in real life.

Never seen Desert Rose in the wild.

It’s probably unlikely that there are any common G1s that I haven’t seen in person. My collection is pretty large, I used to attend ponymeets fairly regularly, and I have gotten tours of a few high end collector’s pony rooms.
However, if I go by ones that I haven’t had pass through my hands, there’s probably one or two Sweetheart Sisters I’ve never personally gotten. I don’t like them, I don’t collect them, and any I do get in lots go straight into the trade bin. A fair few have straggled in over the years, but I probably haven’t gotten all of them.

I would say some sweetheart sisters. I don't collect them so I just have a few I've gotten in lots.

I have also not seen Fancy Flower and Frilly Flower because they weren't released in the UK. I think I've seen most common ponies released in the UK. A lot of the G1 ponies I haven't seen in person are some I'm less keen on collecting, like Flutter Ponies, so they don't really spring to mind.

Nearly every one of the First Year ponies of Gen 1 (although I have seen maybe 2 or 3 of them)

Ivy and Lightheart. Never seen any of the G2s anywhere.

Vintage US Confetti. UK Confetti has a different pose, & is our Confetti. So I've never even sought out a vintage US one. Now Basic Fun have done one, white trotters aren't needed for baits either

All the g1's that I don't own basically. I did see quite a lot of g3's unsure what common ponies I've never seen. I guess I never seen regular Skywishes.

For me it's G1 minty, and I've never actually seen a non mail order G1 Twinkler, I only have the MO one, and even before that, her placeholder was a super baity MO version.

With all the lots from ebay, and ponies at thrift stores, gifts...etc I've never had a Cotton Candy. I've seen the reproductions but never the 'real thing.'

I cant think of a G1 common I havent seen, maybe G2 commons because I dont collect them.

I never found Seashell in the wild. I had to wait until the internet popped up and eBay became a thing. I was so sad, too. I went to great lengths to get Bubbles, so I definitely had Seashell on my #1 priority list once pony buying was a thing!

Tootsie, and about half of the so-softs (I never seek them out, and I try to avoid them in lots because I just don't appreciate them as much as others might).

surprise. i've found her baby, but i've still not had her og. had to get her anniversary version since i couldn't find her through thrifting/antiquing

I've never seen Posey. Not even BF Posey showed up around my area. :( I really wanted her too.

Another one i just thought of is Love Melody. I had Baby Love Melody in my collection a few years back. but for whatever reason I never added Love Melody. it's hard to find one that isn't faded.

Is Lemon Drop supposed to be common? Her stable was one of the first G1 items I ever owned but I have yet to have her. I've seen her pop up in eBay lots but never in any groups that justified me getting them.

I've never come across a Flat Foot Peachy. I've dedicated an entire thread to this question of when it was released and any other information on FF Peachy.

there are many common ponies I've never seen in person, cherries jubilee, posey, blossom, G3 cotton candy, G3 sweetie belle. but the one I'm most surprised by is apple bloom, I have scootaloo and 2 sweetie belles but I've never seen a apple bloom
