Anyway, some other notable things from me:

• Yellow D's neck is ridiculous. I've started calling her the "giraffe rock."
• I make the sound Peri made at the end often.
• I hate to say so but when Steven pulled his hoodie over his head, his hair made him look like Kenny from South Park.
• Yellow Pearl sneaking in the background to give the CGs the stink eye was comedy genius.
• Somebody called Yellow D "mommy long neck" (like "daddy long legs") and I'm still laughing.

So one thing I thought was odd about the Garnet fusion in The Answer

It was so upsetting and "disgusting" to the Gems when Garnet fused- and clearly two different Gems - it certainly could not have been the first time since Gem culture is so ancient-

And yet... when Jasper wanted to beat the Gems, she and actually Lapis didn't really hesitate before fusing.

You could say that maybe things evolved since that first Garnet, like maybe in Gem society two different Gems fusing became more okay- but that doesn't make a lot of sense given how old Gem culture is right? Plus Lapis was trapped in the mirror, so wouldn't she at least have been reluctant or think that it was unnatural or disgusting to fuse with Jasper?   Just a thought.

But of course the real answer is that they wrote "The Answer" fairly recently right?

I think I can at this point still accept both Jasper's willingness to fuse and the other Homeworld Gems's disgust because Jasper's a warrior who seems more interested in success and what best accomplishes that than taboos, social norms, and etiquette. I don't think she doesn't care about that at all, but it seems believable that she's be willing do something when fighting that's unacceptable to what looked to be fancy aristocratic Gems in Blue Diamond's court. And Lapis was just angry and rejecting everyone at that point, so I can believe she'd stop caring about "acceptable" behavior...she basically fused out of spite after all.

Also, I got the Garnet Funko Pop figure for Christmas and it's awesome! They even made the shades translucent, so you can even see her eyes through it! I'm not really a fan of that series of figures, but I surprisingly do find the SU ones adorable.

I think that once the Homeworld gems saw how powerful Garnet was (and possibly other fusions on the rebel side), they quickly got over their disgust enough to weaponize it. Especially since the gems in authority could just tell others to fuse instead of fusing themselves. I think Garnet is much stronger compared to the three-Ruby fusion because she gains the strengths of two different gems.  Rose Quartz took down triple-Ruby pretty easily.

For the Funko's you're better of buying at Hot Topic either online or in store. Online seems to only have Steven right now but I've seen them all in stores.

AFAIK there is no confirmed airdate yet, but the earliest it could come back is February, if that makes sense (unless CN changes their schedule at the last minute, I suppose).
