I have ocd so can only handle a certain amount of pet mess. After careful consideration I chose a schipperke to train as my service dog. (Not an emotional support animal, those aren't legal in public)  He's the single smartest dog I've ever met, and there's been a lot. He was potty trained by nine weeks, passed his obedience class at four months, had to go on hiatus for surgery, then came back and passed intermediate obedience in two weeks at seven months old. He took the advanced class which is all he has left and is ready to pass at 8 months when his leg got worse and he ended up with another surgery. Now he's ten months. He's proven that he can accomplish his two required tasks. He just has to be off pain meds to take the final exam and he'll be fully certified. I'm (obviously) so proud of my pup and so glad I got the right dog for me. He likes swimming and jumps in showers. He's a treat snob and only wants the chicken jerky I make him. He loves and protects my daughter even though she caused his injury. If I pull out the brush he comes running.

I have 8 cats and 1 dog.

My dog, Iris, is from the shelter I work at in 2012. She was a hit-and-run victim who was never claimed. My icon is a picture of her.

Of my cats two, Rocky & Faith, are a brother and sister who were born to a feral mom. I've had them since the day they were born in 2002. They had another brother and sister who have since passed away, as has their mother.

Next we acquired Rusty in 2004. He was a cat my brother had and no longer wanted.

In 2013 we got Munchie. She was a tiny kitten who someone dumped down the road.

Last came a package deal of Boots, Princess, Tigger, and Socks. Boots was another feral who showed up in 2014 and had a litter of kittens. Tigger, Socks and Princess are the 3 kittens she had.

I have some just not as many as a few people here, all that cleaning out you guys have to do you have my respect for that.

One dog - English springer called Megan (when she behaves she has a few other names when she doesn't)

Three budgies - Thomas, Lilly and Chico (he is inherited and I refuse to change his name)

Four goldfish - Stanley, David, trigger and Rodney

Three ponies - fell X Welsh called Sam, gypsy cob called shandy and pain in the butt cob called me dink or stinky as I started to call him (heck did his rugs stink when he arrived).


Though my friend owns the stables where they live and there are three further dogs, about ten ferrets, I think she is at now 20 owls and possible 40 different Falcons/ Hawks she was up in Scotland last week helping someone buy an owl (not wild home bred) and I put money on it when I see her today another one has arrived home with her too haha.

Just two cats and two dogs for me. Feeling overwhelmed just reading about everyone else's menageries, lol! Both the cats are domestics and 9 years old, the dogs are both 2 years old - Charlie is a bull arab (large hound, looks like a boxer or a ridgeback due to his brown coat colour) and Sergeant is a mini fox terrier/pomeranian (but he gets called a kelpie due to his eyebrows and habit of working larger dogs and biting their hocks, the cheeky bugger).

one mickey mouse platty and a pond snail - currently the two things in a 20 gallon tank. There were more fish but I think China's toxic water killes off everything except the snails and goldfish.

1 albino ferret (Miku), 1 bearded dragon aka "pancakesaurus" (Zoë), 1 Leo Gecko (Kiyomi), and 1 flame-morph Kenyan sand boa (Nirobi). All girls! :3

Miku and I just went to a pet show! She was shy and a little nervous for the obstacle course....but she got her picture professionally taken!

Aww, you're guinea pig reminds me of one I used to have!  They're such sweet little things...

Right now I just have one cat, named Coconut.  She's a bit feral but absolutely loves hanging out with me, especially when she can sit on my keyboard.

And I have recently adopted and elderly Campbell's Russian Dwarf hamster called Olive. She has some issues.
