Theme Parks? Do you like them?

Because I do! In fact I'm right now studying to become a Decor Designer (having Finals next year and after that Im gonna study more about decor designing) , and my dream job would be to design for Theme Parks.

We go to theme parks about 5-6 times a year. In summer, (less then a month!) we will go to Europapark in Germany for 2 nights. It's my favourite Theme Park and I'm going for the 8th time already this year. The thing I love the most are the Roller Coasters, seriously, I'm an adrealine junky. And my favourite coaster is the Blue Fire:

I also love the Silver Star because of the height (73 meters) and the Air Time you get on this thing. I also still love the Efteling here in the Netherlands. But they really need to build something new. But there will be a new coaster next year but still. I preffer Europapark way more. Eventually I also want to travel to Florida to visit Bush Gardens and go to Alton Towers in the UK. It's only a sad thing my parents don't like to travel so far.

I loveee theme parks! The last one I went to was Busch Gardens in Florida a few months ago. I haven't been to very many though, just Kemah Boardwalk, Astroworld (Which no longer exists :c), Six Flags in San Antonio, and Disney World.
Rollercoasters are my favorite to ride except I hatteeee the drops. I curse really loudly in rapid succession when the ride drops.
Busch Gardens was especially fun because it's also a wildlife preserve and they had some hands on animal exhibits.

The only rides I wont go one are the giant drop rides. I can't think of the name for them but they are awful and they terrify me.

I also really, really love waterparks! So much that I frequently dream about them. I hit up schlitterbahn once every summer (Either Galveston or New Braunsfels) and I'll be going this time mid-July. Once again no drop rides for me but everything else is so much fun. I just love water.

I've lived in Williamsburg, VA my entire life. I'm less than 10 minutes from Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. (They're only a few miles apart.) As you can imagine, I've been to both parks a zillion times. So I think they're fine, but not too exciting. They're definitely not as great now as when I was younger. Everything is overly crowded these days!

I love them, but strangely, I never ride them. I'm too afraid of rides, but I'd like to overcome that fear! But I like the theme park atmosphere. Lights, movement, sugary treats and their smell... and really loud music >.<

The last one I went to was a little one in Calgary called Calaway Park. We had fun and I want to go again someday. The older kids and I went on the roller coaster.

I hate them. Absolutely hate them. I don't like being around people at theme parks. I don't even like the local festivals I used to like as a kid anymore. Now to me its a gathering of the local rednecks. I hated Disney when I was 12 and if Disney can't draw me in I'm guessing not many parks can. I don't like roller coasters either, maybe because my stepdad drove drunk with me and my sister in the car when we were kids so riding around in something that seems life threatening doesn't thrill me.

I do.   Growing up I always had a season pass to our local theme park (Great America), and we would always drive down to Disneyland every 2 or 3 years.

Now I'm trying to pass my love of roller coasters and rides onto my kids, but they don't appear to like rides as much as I do.  My oldest daughter cried on "It's A Small World"

I love Disney. But i'm a Disney nerd who was raised close to it so I don't go when its crouded

I went to Tokyo Disneyland and had an absolute blast. The only other thing resembling a theme park was probably The Big Pineapple?? ? It was certainly a themed park, at least

I like it very much, love getting the adrenalinehighs. I spent midsummers eve on Gröna Lund here in Sweden riding all the rollercoasters. Ok, almost all, the one called Inzane looked too insane so I opted out, lol. Sadly i've only been on three theme parks in my life. Gröna Lund every two or three years, as a kid I was at Skara Summerland at Skara Sweden and Vasalandia in Finland.

I did when I was younger, but now that I am older I could care less. I have a lot of allergies and sinus problems so I get dizzy very easy! Just cant handle them like I did in the past.  I will watch others get sick but its just not for me anymore........LOL
