help me find this toy

I have a sheepskin lamb that you put pj's in. (Of coarse I don't do that with mine as she is far to old but that is what she was for) I took her to an valuer and he told me that she was made in the 1960s by chad valley. I have never seen another one in my life and that include pics on line.

The thing is, as she is made from a real sheep she is starting to desintergrate round her tail and back legs. (They did fall of when I was about 10 0r 11 but I re-attached then)

I would be very happy if I could find another one or get more information about her. She has been in my bed by my side every single night since I got her (apart from the night I stayed in hospital. The nurse wasn't to keen on her for some reason)

I don't know if they made it to the U.S but I would be very happy to find out more info or see a pic of another one. Even better would be to own another one

Hmm!  I've never heard of anything like that ... using real sheep's skin to make a lamb toy?

I just looked up ghost of the doll and they only identify toys from the 1980s onwards. I think emily (her name) was made in the 60-70s.

I have my doubts that this is what you are referencing, but there are only 2 Chad Valley lambs I have found so far. Will keep looking.

I don't think I agree with the valuer... Here is a 1930s Chad Valley lamb and the feet do not match.

yes she does have a zip. It's on her stomach. Sadly the pic doesn't match her at all but thankyou for trying

I love her much that when I realised what she was made of (real sheepskin) I didn't mind at all. I am against animalskin and fur as clothing but I just love her too much and I will NEVER let her go and I will protect her for as long as she exists
