In my local stores, we went from Rainbow Neon wave 1 (Cheerilee, Pinkie, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash) straight to Cutie Mark Magic wave 1 (Applejack, Sweetie Drops, Princess Twilight, Sunset Shimmer, Rainbow Dash, Skywishes). No RN wave 2 (Rarity/Holly Dash) ever appeared. :huh: Neither did the earlier Rainbow Tinsel wave 2 (Applejack, Princess Twilight).

Might be old news but I can confirm the new Cutie Mark Magic Cadance and Sunset Shimmer are out at Toys R Us in MN.
They had maybe 5-6 Cadance, and two Sunset Shimmers at one TRU, and 4 Cadance and one Sunset at the other. It seems like someone had been looking through them though so they might get like 2 Sunsets per shipping box.
I could not help opening Sunset and putting the glasses on the top of her head, and removing the skirt to show her cutie mark :P She seriously was worth it! <3 I'd be happy to post pictures of her unboxed without the plastic outfit :)

Maybe I wasn't looking at the right times, but I swear the stores near me never got Sweetie Drops or Skywishes, either. Unless they sold out that quickly? I check Targets and TRUs every couple of weeks, and it's been nothing but Mane 6 for at least six months now.

The "Cutie Mark Magic" Ponies are finally on Hasbrotoyshop.com!  (although it appears that Sweetie Drops is sold out already) they do have Skywishes.

They also have the Water Cuties (snow globe ponies) and Rockin Hairstyle Equestria girl dolls (and the doll/pet sets).  I snagged Rarity and Pinkie snow globes and the Punked out RD, and Twilight with her Spike dog (hey I had to get free shipping somehow right?)

Sadly, they are already sold out of Diamond Mint snow-globe pony, but I'm sure she will be back in stock- so I will be back when they do!

I spoke too soon- they are in stock now!  (Water Cuties Diamond Mint, Pinkie, Rarity) and all of the Cutie Mark Magic ponies (including Sweetie Drops and Skywishes)
