The first trailer left a bad taste in my mouth, at least the new one kinda says what it's about, but it still doesn't seem that interesting to me.
The reindeer is awfully cute, though.

I feel like the US trailer, like all US Disney trailers, focuses WAY too much on the random comic sidekicks (you know, like the initial Frozen teaser was just the talking snowman and the reindeer, giving absolutely no notion as to what the movie was actually about and making it seem like it would be some version of Ice Age with taking animals in the snow) and not enough on what the movie is actually about.

I agree with that entirely. Watching the first trailer doesn't give you the slightest hint there are female characters. The focus on the comedic side is partially to try and get the boy audience interested in the film, verses being instantly written off as a girl movie. An advertising attempt to show that there is something for everybody not just girls.

Olaf is going to do a lot of stealing the show. They showed us one of the songs for the film that Olaf sings at the D23 expo Frozen seminar and it was hilarious. The music for Frozen is written and composed by the husband and wife songwriting team of Kristen Anderson-Lopezby and Robert Lopez (known for Avenue Q and The Book of Mormon) so definitely looking forward to that as well as the film itself.

i'm still really cautious about this movie but it's......kind of.....growing on me......

and heck anna is actually really cute and adorkable and has a really cute dress so i might just buy her doll?? (plus she shares my name soooo)

Not a big fan of the way Disney markets these films in the US - frantic cuts and edits, action emphasis, and too much time given to the "comedy" of the film.  Is it just me, or is the "awkward moments" sort of humor getting really old?  The way the US trailer presents itself, it feels like another Tangled.  That gets a big "eh" from me.   

The BF and I will probably get around to seeing it when it's in the local $2 second-run theatre.

I am totally excited. 

The snow man made me laugh and I actually really enjoyed him.

BUT at the same time the trailer shouldn't focus on him so much as it should on Anna + Elsa. I want to know what's going on between them and they just aren't telling you.

I really loved the concept art for this, but seeing the final rendering of the characters is so disappointing. The girls look the same as most CGI girls to me... Big ol' eyes, little nose, and a soft, round face.

But I do love how the backgrounds to the movie looks. The willow trees with ice droplets are so pretty. And the snow and weather scenes look amazing. I'd like to be there in person.  There is an advantage to using some CGI in places. Even the Lion King used it a little.  But I'd love for it to be an enhancement and not the whole of the movie.  I'd like the characters to be traditional again.

It looks cute like all Disney is but I just can't shake off the vibe that it looks like Tangled, I know of course part of that is the Disney style but it's not hooked me,

It was also fustrating when they were claiming it's an adaptation of 'The Snow Queen' but then it turned out to have nothing to do with the original story (which would have actually made a pretty decent film)

But urm I'll reserve judgement until it comes out
