Pony Corral / Best way to sell ponies now?

Hey all!

So I'm going to my mom's the first week of August and while I'm there I plan on shipping back the majority of my collection to sell off. It's been awhile since I've sold anything and I'm trying to figure out the best place to sell. I want to make the most money off of my old collection but also do it fairy quickly because I've gotten in over my head on a few things and need to sell ASAP. ^^"

I know I have a lot though and will update when I'm there with pictures/everything else. Heck if someone in GA would want to stop by and buy in bulk I would be totally okay with this! lol

Pony Corral / What to do with a factory error?

Hey all!

So I was at Wal-Mart the the other day and found this wonderful factory error Pinkie Pie. She has no symbol and one eye is completely off center. I bought it simply because it made it me laugh for a few minutes but now she's kind of in the way.

Is it okay to customize them or is there a market for factory errors? I have plenty of baits so I figured I would see if there was a market or them or not. Of course she's still MoC to help prove that I simply didn't just wipe the symbol off myself.

Also does any one else have fun factory errors? I love finding them like they're some treasure and not Hasbro just derping it. lol

Hey all!

I feel better asking here than on DoA about this. ^^'

So I really want that new pretty pegasus horsebutt that they've released but I have no need for the human half. Would anyone be willing to split with me?

I have the price for the horsebutt at $425 so when you add human legs onto the upper half it's the basic kid delf price. The good thing about doing it this way if you wanted her is you can get any skin tone without any up-charges at all. I might need a layaway depending on how things go (or how things sell rather). I'd be doing that through Fabric Friends and Dolls if it came to that.

I figured I would post here before posting on DoA. :3

I don't usually post photo stories anymore but I got the chance at a meet to play with dollies I don't actually own. So I had fun making up a random thing as I went along. On DoA it has text but I feel it's really cheesy so I'm presenting it her with no text so people can make up their own story.

(Srs I would love to hear how others interpret it!)

Sorry for the blurry towards the end. I was using my cell phone and was starting to not care towards the end. (It was HOT!) Though I hope it amused someone who made funny voices in their head as they read it like, "Oh noez it's a white thing!!" , "OHhhhh noooo~" Because I did that aloud last night at like, two am and I thought I was hilarious.

Customs / Chalkboard Paint?

Alright I need some advice!

So I'm planning on painting something with Chalkboard paint and I was wondering, what is the best way to go about this? I only ask because the material is plastic and I want to know how all those nice smooth coats of chalkboard paint was put on ponies.

Should I use a primer like Google says to or is that not really needed? Also what brands have been used and with what results? I am excited for this project but at the same time I don't want to mess it up. ^^'

The Dollhouse / FS: Two J-Dolls and MH dolls

Hey everyone!

So I find myself in a bit of a bind due to doll sales not going through. ^^" So I'm hoping someone here will want the J-Dolls I bought a little while ago and a few MH dolls I still have left.

I have Melrose Ave who is still in her box. However the box is a bit dinged in the corners if if that is a problem.

Than I have Vasterlanggatan who has been opened and displayed. Her stand and flowers were never removed from the packaging, only the doll itself. I have since taken off her gloves however and shoved them in the box since I hated them.

I'd prefer to sell the two together for $35 plus shipping. However if you only want one I'm asking $20 plus shipping. Photos of these two to come as soon as I can get my phone to send the pics to my comp.

I also have the first release of Deuce and Cleo I'd like to sell. It includes everything from what I can tell minus her brush. I *think* Deuce's legs have been restrung but I can get him to stand like a rock so it doesn't affect much.

I'm accepting all reasonable offers on this set since I have no clue what it is worth.

I'll be sure to add photos ASAP, once I can get my phone to send them to my comp. (Ah technology.) Please note that I do live in a smoking home that is pet friendly however I keep all my things as far away from the smoker in the house as I can. If need be I can store the items at a friend's house for a week or so until the smell fades and then ship them out.

Hey all!

I really need help from a Russian user! I found something I would love to buy but I'm not sure if they're willing to ship outside of the states. I think it would put them at ease if someone in Russia were to contact them for me since it is a high priced item and may seem like a scam if I were to use a translator.

Would anyone be willing to help me? Either just in translation or even acting as a middle man? I would be forever grateful since I really want this item!

Didn't the first MH boys all have elastic holding their legs together but it was quickly scrapped because it had been proven to fall apart and break? The one I just sold did and the buyer is fussing over it but I just... I have no clue.

Trader & Shipping Support / Buyer Problems on E-bay

Hey all!

I need some advice on this. I'm hurting for cash and so I sold my Monster High dolls on E-bay. Well now someone got a set that sold (for a bit much) and they're claiming the doll can't stand! I know he can, I even have photos of him standing by himself. Yet the buyer has a lot more feedback than I do and I feel that Ebay will rule in their favor just because of this. They're claiming his legs are broken so I asked for a picture of it.

I also put no returns in my Ebay auction but I'm afraid they'll file a PP dispute just because they can't get him to stand. Like what are my odds of coming out on top of this if I decide not to simply bow to them and accept the return?

Hey all!

So I have a lot of MH that I simply don't do anything with and I need money. I'm not even sure if what I have is worth anything to be totally honest. So I didn't even put prices since the prices on e-bay were so high that I laughed and said "that can't be real!" So here is what I have, none of them come with brushes, those all ran away with the pony brushes. Please put an offer of some sort since I have no clue what to even price them at. ^^'

So the other day I went to a doll meet in a park. It was your typical meet, lots of dolls that you don't get to see often and one caught my attention right away.

He was adorable in every way and just stole my heart. <3 Well they sadly stopped making them back in like... 2006 or something. I was young then and didn't have a job to ever get one since they were sorta pricy.

I knew my friend always had one but she never had it strung and never brought it to meets. Then, after forever she did, just for me. Well I already owed her money from my Lishe and we got to talking. I traded my SDC Kurt for her Delf Lishe and this lovely little boy.
