Title: Ebay seller warning: stamp545
Post by: Gaspode on March 01, 2021, 11:48:06 AM
Warning to all.

Feb 22nd: A pony lot including a piggy was on 'best offer'.  I made an offer and it was accepted. I paid immediately.

Feb 23rd: Seller dispatched the items with Hermes.

Feb 26th: Hermes tracking states item with local depot and will be with me shortly.

Later that day noticed the tracking number was now removed from ebay and it just said 'paid' not 'dispatched. Contacted seller to ask for the tracking number again. Dug through my internet history and found it and tracked it to see a msg from Hermes
saying 'we have a problem delivering to your address please get in touch'. Emailed Hermes to see what the problem was (strange, they have delivered to us many times before)

Feb 27th: Wake up to a message from the seller on ebay:

I responded saying I still wanted them, condition looked fine in photographs, could I repay and have them sent please. But that it was also odd that a tracking number had been provided and that Hermes had informed me a parcel was on way to the house.

Feb 28th: No response from seller

March 1st: Email from Hermes confirming the seller contacted them and asked for the parcel BACK!

TL/DR: Seller agreed a best offer price and posted my ponies but then changed their mind, lied about sending them and demanded courier return them to her.  If you see a Cotton Candy piggy up for sale soon or other items from this seller I definitely recommend staying away as she may pull similar tricks :(

It seems so, and I've had that happen before, but typically the seller cancels BEFORE shipping, not several days after the parcel is en route and demanding it back from the courier... that's a new one on me!!!!
