I'm dealing with the one problem I was afraid of when I opted to let a Canadian buyer on ebay bid on one of my auctions. It was mailed May 8th priority mail and tonight I get a message from ebay that they have opened a not received request without contacting me first  I have already provided the tracking details on the request. The receipt says item is insured up to $200 so I will go to PO Monday and ask about it. This is exactly why I will no longer ship outside US which sucks since I would sell for more, but if I got to deal with crap like this it's not worth it. Sorry to rant, but my ebay selling days may be over after this! I have bought from Russia and waited 2 months for the item to arrive. Wish people would have more patience!

I have had several buyers interested in my items who are not in US but with the Covid restrictions, I am hesitant of opening my sales to worldwide. Does anyone else in US still ship worldwide during this mess and if so what precautions you take to ensure you don't get chargebacks because the item is delayed or impatient buyers? I can't really risk losing money now since I'm unemployed and finishing school.

If you sell on ebay, you probably know that ebay will now send your selling profits to your bank account after deducting their fees instead of paypal. I had to give them my bank info and just today got notified the payment is being transferred for an item I sold Thursday and may take a few days to reach my account. I don't know about anyone else, but part of the reason I sold on ebay was so I could have instant paypal funds as an alternative to spending what was in my bank account (which isn't much now that I'm unemployed). I personally don't like dealing with banks and the bank having access to my money to possibly take their own fees out of has taken out any fun in making extra income. So with that, I will finish up selling all my doubles and probably stop selling on ebay after the first of the year. I really wish they'd leave stuff alone and stop changing everything up for the worse, but know that isn't likely.

I bought  a non pony item off ebay and just checked the tracking number to see it was delivered in another state today? I've already contacted the seller concerning this, but has anyone else had this happen? I'm afraid of not getting my item and it's not something that has been on ebay before as long as I've been buying.


Edit: seller responded and says it was wrong tracking number and my item should arrive Monday so all is well.

I had recently purchased an upgrade German Skydancer from ebay to replace the one I had in my collection the last few years. I noticed after taking photos of her to sell to someone she had big blotches on her. I don't remember if she was like this when I purchased her as it's been a while now, but curious if this pony is prone to age spots and cancer. How much does this affect her value? I way overpaid for my upgrade, bu I wanted one with an original tail as I noticed when popping the head off the one I'm selling she had a zip tie and her tail is thin. Guess I've entered that "I'm picky so I need to upgrade" stage since I've gotten most of them now, lol!
