I hope I am not the only one who would be very upset if it was an EQG doll. I despise that line and I certainly don't want one based on a character I also can't stand like Muffin pony...though I have a sad feeling that is how it will turn out.

Also, Funko is a separate company from Hasbro, they just get licenses to use their characters, so any SDCC exclusive they come out with will not be tied in with the Hasbro made exclusive.

If that's what they are going with this year, neither one excite/intrigue me enough to warrant my hard earned money From the sounds of it, it looks like Funko fans will be in an uproar over them releasing the same characters with minor tweaks

My guess is it will be an EQG set without a pony.  When you open the EQG, there's a smaller EQG inside her.  And a smaller one inside that one.  And so on.

great guesses everyone! if it is a doll and pony set, I hope the pony at least has some pretty designs on it's body, I think that'd be a nice nod to the previous con exclusive ponies. and the doll better have a nice outfit with quality fabric! it'd also be nice if they used a new,  fully articulated body but I won't hold my breath lol

Well, if we're going for EQG as the main guess. I'm going to say it will probably have a sound chip and it will sound nothing like the actual character.

They would never present SDCC exclusives at Toyfair, which is aimed at selling product to buyers like Target, etc.  So you can set your mind at ease on that score, although I do admit that a pony/doll combo of SOME kind appears to be a real possibility.

But that's not gonna happen.

If it was a G4 Firefly it'd appease all fans, since I know the FiM exclusive people like her too. And it connects current MLP to it's roots!

wasnt one of the  clues that it would make everyone happy or it was classic or something?   i  kind of hope it will be the ones that inspired the G4 Mane six. in  Fashion style size.. 

but like i siad my expecatiosn are low.. and its liekly just    a cheap gimicaky mane  six pony.   that is horridly overpriced.  or   Egd

See this is what I would like (but they won't do).  I will say it... Not in G4 style.  I haven't been too interested in exclusives since G3, but I might consider Firefly.  I did grow up with her.

Other than that I can't really guess.  Not a big fan of the show, maybe watched a handfull of episodes.  So I don't know the fan favorites and don't have a favorite either.
