Do you have this pony? Your thoughts? Share some more pics!
Would love to have version of her.
For the entire month of October I'll be featuring Nirvana's from Italy & Spain. I'll continue to dedicate the first few days to birthday ponies in celebration of those born within that month. The last day of the month will be dedicated to a specific play set.pass

Have. Bow tie is one of my favorite year two ponies. There’s something weird with her eyes though have no idea if it’s a factory error or something that happened over time.
-
I have a few! Bowtie is my favorite pony, and I have an army of her.
-
I have an Italian version and I want more different versions of her! :lovey:
-
I've seen italian bowtie before but her name is Timmie?
Can someone please explain?

I have a version of her ^^

Some of the Italian ponies were boys, I think Timmy is one of them?

Timmy vs. Tammy :)
These were the names given in ITALY (not the exported Italy ponies). Bowtie got two releases in Italy, as in some other places in Europe and in an alternate pose. One shy pose (Timmy, female) sold it Cotton Candy, Blossom, AJ, Seashell and Bubbles. Collectors pose (Tammy, male) was sold in the same set as Lickety Split, Posey, CP AJ, Cherries Jubilee and white Tootise.

Timmy is actually a girl, where as Tammy is a boy. They have different characters/personalities too.

I have heard collector Chi refer to Tammy as Tommy :wonder: I would need to see/find back card information or comic book/leaflets etc.
Many Italian ponies were intended to be male ponies, and instead of Mummy and Baby, the Italian line had uncles/aunties and nieces/nephews.

Ah, thank you PKW! I thought I remembered there being something else going on w/ Italian Bow-Tie's gender, I forgot about Tammy.
I love all the unusual lore surrounding Nirvana ponies like this. I wish more of it was known!

Thanks for letting me know :)
-
I used to have her but sold her. So I guess 'pass' for me :)

Carr and King I am glad you enjoyed the information, I really love nirvana "lore" and how ponies were different in different countries and cultures.
