I try to draw what I want them to look like, and then go and shop or favorite items that I'd like to get them. I find wig hunting to be the worst... Sometimes I can find the perfect style, but it never comes in the colour(s) I'm looking for. D=

Thanks for all the advice! I am just now starting to get comfortable with my sewing machine, so I guess I'll keep practicing so that when they get here I'll be totally comfortable creating their fashions. I've already found the perfect eyes, but I'm with you, Flaileigh; I'm having problems with finding the right wig. Hadn't thought of drawing them, though. That's an awesome idea!!!

My La Dee Das are at the customs office, even though I did pay the fees on Thursday. They will be delivered on Monday, I can't wait! The two customs that were in the works will probably be shipped soon. I am all giddy!

Soooo, right now, I am patiently waiting for a doll chateau hilary! She is such a little cutie! I am not too sure what she will be destined to be, circus or..... Lol! My soom dune is getting a fire phoenix makeover when finals are finished next week, but her awesome red and orange wig made it today and her gold foil eyes last week, eeeee!

Glad to see some Doll Chateau's on the way! I ordered an Ada from Alice's Collections in Feb. She's soooo tiny and I couldn't resist that saucy face. =)

I'm currently waiting on 3 dolls. It's killing me! There's probably still at least a month to go before my Soom or Angel Egg doll ships, but the third is from Dollmore and they usually ship pretty fast. I've already got wigs & eyes ready, and some clothes, too. Now I just need my dolls, rawr! The Angel Egg is the worst. I ordered her in February. But I knew going in that it's probably be June at the soonest before she shipped. I've been making little photostories about my other dolls getting ready for their new friends to arrive. It helps pass the time

Today marked my final payment on my LoongSoul White Tiger girl. I'm sure the wait for her now will be brutal, but it will give me time to scrounge up some funds and go shopping for her essentials. I'm super excited!

I'm waiting on Mirodoll Wind. It's still processing, 'cause I just ordered it yesterday. I looked at the review thread on DoA, and it seems that shipping times vary with this company... Some people have had their doll shipped within 8 days (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) some people got it in a month. So, I guess I'll just have to wait and see... I'm actually kinda hoping that it doesn't come TOO quickly, because I still need to buy her eyes and wig and clothes, haha.

I shipped off Brooke's head to Xhanthi today, so I'm just waiting on that. I'm going to try my hand at sewing for dolls while she's decapitated, so she will have something cute to wear when I put her back together and do her first official photoshoot.

I am SO very jelly! I wanted to preorder one so badly busy we just didn't have the funds. I'm hoping I'll be able to buy one eventually. Maybe another release or second-hand or something. Pics when your little one arrives!!!!!

Oh there will be pics!  I'm hoping they do other releases too as the original article showed different skin tones.  She will be my first BJD.  I could resist no longer.

currently I am waiting for a dolly lot that has a Moxie Teenz Tristen in it. there are some other dolls I'm interested in from the lot, but Tristen is obviously the number one included, and also the reason why I decided to buy the lot. I already have a Tristen doll, but mine didn't have any of her clothes, accessories or wig (this doll does ^^ ), and I wanted a second Tristen for so long, as I have a girl in my mind I'd love to bring to life, and I'd like her to have the same pale skin tone as Tristen.

I e-mailed Resinsoul to inquire about the status of my order, since it'd been just over a month since I placed my order. Sun e-mailed me back with a tracking number-- I guess my Song was mailed a few days ago. According to tracking, he's in San Francisco now and already processed through customs. Yay! Should be here in another day or two.

I'm also echoing the demand for baby centaur pictures as soon as it arrives!
