Dolly Waiting Room

I'm waiting for two figmas (I'm not sure whether to call them dolls or action figures, lol) right now.  One is Armin from Attack on Titan.  I'm the most excited for him since he is my absolute favorite!  I am also waiting on Levi from the same series.  He is my second favorite.  Eventually I'd like to get the other two in the set so I can have all of them  .    Theoretically, they are coming in late July.  Maybe.

I kinda just want to whine because this Thursday will make 34 weeks....34 WEEKS since I ordered my 5StarDoll Quintus.  I ordered through DDE and I've emailed them several times and they keep saying that 5SD will ship "next week." 
I finally got tired of the run-around and emailed 5SD directly because I wanted to see what they would say.  Apparently they were making a new body for their dolls, and they shipped the DDE order last week, so it should be in Denver THIS week!  I'm trying to to get too excited, until I get a shipping notice, lol.

I know this hobby is not for the impatient, but I really think 34 weeks and counting is a ridiculous wait time for a Yo-SD who isn't limited or Special Edition or anything crazy like that.  I'm just hoping to have the little critter in hand soon!

I'm just waiting on my new Batchix doll. Shouldn't be too much longer A month and a half maybe? I'm sure I can survive... right? x_x

I think I'd get in touch with them through an email and explain to them how deeply disappointed you are that you've had to wait for something from their business. It's bad customer service for them to not have sent you a message about the delay, or contacting you in some way about it. I'm sure they asked for your email when you initially ordered? Be polite, but straight to the point, and tell them that you might be hesitant to purchase from them in the future because of it. At the very least, they may refund some of your cost or offer you a discount coupon (or even a free item) to make you happy. So sorry you've had to wait for such an incrediblyy long time

I emailed 5SD directly on Tuesday and they said the order was shipped to DDE last week, so they should receive it this week.  I was very polite that time. I may not be able to be as polite if I haven't heard anything from DDE by Monday.  Somebody is obviously fibbing about ship dates, and I'd just really like to have my doll.  I can guarantee I won't ever order direct from 5SD, and I'll only order IN STOCK dolls from DDE from now on.  It's been one big run-around.

Yeah, tell them that straight up, or call them and ask to speak to a higher-up. The highest possible and tell THEM how how unhappy you are and that you'll never order from themdirectly  again. They should know about their company's failings and that this was a major one.

I just got my invoice from DDE!!!!!  I've never paid a paypal invoice so fast, lol!  They usually ship fast too, so I should have her early next week...so excited!!!!

Just ordered a Tonner Agnes Dreary doll, I Dream of Dreary.  I've been waiting one since the line came out.

Well I saw the Fairyland event photos and the pukifee was too cute! I needed a body for my MNF Juri head from last year anyway, so I ordered her body today so I can get the head! Now I just have to try to get a pukifee body and hopefully a faceup for my Juri head so she's ready when her body arrives.

**EDIT** I found my body! $160 for just the body and head back, so I don't have to try to resell a faceplate afterwards. It's being shipped sea mail from Australia, but I'm not exactly in a rush for a doll that won't arrive for months. I'm going to try to focus on getting all my current dolls painted (I have two blank dolls) and nice outfits and wigs. That way, when this order comes in, I'll have a body for last year's Juri finally and then I will just need a face for this year's Juri Jr. 11 dolls. Bahaha.

I'm impatient already lol. But part of me actually loves the wait. I think the anticipation and planning for a new doll is part of the fun lol.

Waiting on:

MNF A-line body (NS, small bust, cutie legs) for last year's Juri head.
PKF Juri '14 faceplate (NS). I think I might name her Lynna.
PKF body and head, no faceplate (NS)

While I wait, I still need faceups for the Juri '13 head and my tan PP PongPong. Plus everyone could use some new clothes.

Both my figmas have shipped!  *dances*  I can't wait for them to finally come!  I have been waiting on Armin since I pre-ordered him in February, and I've been waiting for Levi for like a month.
