I snagged a Shaymin plush while I was out today! Though I do agree with you, Rainbowrific Renia; the TRU ones seem to be MUCH easier to come across. I just had to get Shaymin though; I love it's little round shape and the flowers. It's so adorable! Also got Pokemon Go and I can't wait to try it out. For sure I plan to go out walking every where tomorrow :D

I can not WAIT for Pokemon Go!!!!! I was so excited because I saw an article that just said 'Pokemon GO released', and didn't realize it was only in select regions. I neeeeeedddddd it lol

Also, I'm heading out today to try and pick up a Shaymin plush (I found the figure though). Our TRU didn't get them in over the weekend, so I'm hoping that I haven't missed out.

Off Topic / Re: Healthy Pony Sign up July 5.
« on: July 06, 2016, 07:15:40 AM »
I feel like I'm off to a good start this week. I meant to start my new routine and check in last week, but the start of the week I felt just good enough to leave my bed in favor for laying on the couch all day for the first three days (felt sick as a dog; not a fun time lol), and then the last half of the week I was out of town playing at the Pokemon National Tournament (so I'm glad I felt horrible at the start of the week rather than the last half!)

Yesterday I woke up at nine, which was a little later than I meant to (was aiming for 8am), but it was a late night on Monday spending time with friends, since it was a holiday. I limited my morning internet time to only an hour, then started on morning exercises. I chose to do stair climbing, so I ran our staircase about fifteen to twenty times and stopped when my legs started to shake lol. Breakfast was a yogurt, and I limited my snacking down to only two items throughout the day, which was a big improvement (a snack size bag of popcorn and a pack of peanut butter crackers). Dinner was homemade tacos, and I only had two. I did cheat and have a left over waffle that was hanging out in the fridge before bed, but I think that is because my stomach is no where near on board with the new limited food choices yet.

I also chose to weigh myself on the scale yesterday, something I have never done when I'm trying to be healthy because it is typically so much of a punch in the gut. But I decided this time, I don't want to just go along THINKING I'm doing good, I want to KNOW. So that if something isn't working, I can change things up. Right now, I weigh 234lbs (first time I've posted THAT on the internet XD ). It was both a painful, and pleasant number, because the last time I had my weight taken I was up about ten pounds. So I feel much more encouraged that weight loss is possible if I just find a routine for me and stick with it.

I love this idea, and I'll be signing up. I did this once before and benefited so much from it, having other people to talk to and to bounce ideas and tips off of, and it really helped bolster my confidence.

The Sign Up.
1. Name:
Kitkumi

2. After 3 months you want to be where:
Overall I want to be at a point where I have dropped some weight (lets say.... 15lbs? I want to say more, but I'm not sure 30lbs is a realistic goal for three months), and am more active EVERY day, instead of just sporadically. Along with that I want to spend less time online or watching TV and more time working on my etsy shop as well as my writing. I want to build up my confidence and self esteem, so that when my picture gets taken I don't inwardly flinch and then never actually look at the pictures. It's a lot of work, but even getting started on the building blocks of these things will make me feel pretty good.

3. What is your plan?
I plan to introduce much more structure in to my life, starting with the time I go to bed and the time I wake up. I would like to do away with the late nights that I'm used to so I don't sleep all day. From there I'll figure out a good routine that I can build on regarding times of day I exercise, when I eat and what I eat, and such, and keep track of all the things I do eat to try and curb snacking and hopefully help balance out my digestive health. To keep my motivation up regarding projects, I'll break them into batches so that I can streamline processes, while also making sure to take short breaks where I get up and either use the treadmill for ten minutes or just walk around the house for a bit, so I'm not sitting for hours.

If you are looking for lawn work ideas, weeding and watering comes to mind. Our neighbors are elderly, so they can't really tend to their landscape on their own, so they higher professionals to come in and take care of the bulk of it. But when their grandkids visit every few weeks, they let them pull weeds and water plants to earn a little spending money (I'm not sure how much, as I've never asked). And I would stick with $5 for both car washing and dog walking. Even if you have local, professional car washes at $5, people do seem willing to help kids out when they are doing things like that. Plus, you can always bring your prices down, but you can't easily raise them :D

I'm not sure it was from the 80s, but if not it was very close to it: Pirates Of Dark Water! I absolutely loved the show when I was a kid, but it NEVER FINISHED!! They released the series on dvd about four years ago I think, and I was really surprised at how well it held up over the years (as an adult I went in to watching it again figuring it would be super cheesy now, and that I was just remembering it with the rose colored glasses of nostalgia, but that wasn't the case!)

Typically I'm not a fan of reboots because they muck too much with my fond childhood memories, and the quality just isn't as great, but since the original series never finished I would be up for seeing what they could do with it in today's age (so long as they finished the story! Lol)

« on: May 16, 2016, 11:23:23 AM »
I had all four of mine removed at once, and for me it wasn't too bad. I was given half a valium the night before the surgery, and another half the morning of (I have a terrible stress problem lol). They put me under via IV/Injection and the removal went smoothly. I slept a LOT afterwards, as in the entire day. I was given some high strength pain medication to take if I needed it, but even having all four removed at once I only needed a few advil the first day, and after that I was fine. Pain varies from person to person though (my fiance also had all four of his taken out at once and managed with only advil as well). My annoyance was with not being able to open my mouth all the way lol. I think the swelling lasted about a week on me, and I was up and moving around only a few days later.

Warm salt water rinses twice a day really helped me too, just don't swish too hard, if at all (I would just tilt my head back and forth). Also, my dentist warned me to not use straws for a week or so, since the suction of using one can cause issues. Dry socket is the main thing you need to watch out for. I didn't get it, because I was super careful, but I was told that it can cause some major discomfort.

My pro tip though? Don't sit around right after and binge watch the food network XD Really, it isn't worth the torment! lol

Toy Box & Games Cupboard / Re: Pokemon Gen 7 Team Sun or Team Moon?
« on: May 11, 2016, 06:43:04 AM »
I was team Moon when it was first announced, but I'm just not feeling the giant bat :/ I had been expecting something much more.... elegant, I suppose is the right word? To be honest, I expected something more in line with the giant Sun lion. That thing is amazing looking imo. It also reminds me a lot of Johto's three legendary cats/dogs. So I'm going to be on the fence until we find out some more version exclusive details.

As for starters, I am going to be crazy and pick both the grass owl and the fire kitten! XD This is the first gen where I actually haven't been able to settle, so since my fiance is getting which ever version I don't, I'll just borrow his game to pick up the second starter. Though does anyone watch Miraculous Ladybug? The fire kitten reminds me a lot of Plagg for some reason.

Sumire was my partner, and she sent by far the most amazing box. Everything I opened really just knocked me for a loop, and the wrapping was gorgeous (I kept all the ribbons and it was really cool that she tried to wrap using my favorite colors!) She was also so thoughtful and instead of sending a lot of edible goodies she sent me Digimon cards instead (though the apple-strawberry fruit chew was delicious and didn't survive long, and I've got a pot of tea chilling in the fridge. It smells amazing)

Everything that she got me fell directly in to all of my main collections, and she ended up getting multiple grail items of mine: the cute Chocobo mini towel I have been eyeing forever, the new Luna dog tag, and the SEA SHOCKER DRAGON! :drunk: Also, the Digimon stuff, aside from the cards, were things I didn't even know existed and I LOVE them. I'm a huge sucker for pins, stickers, and stationary, and she got things featuring my favorite characters  :frolic: But enough of my talking, BRING ON THE PICTURES!
