Wanted! / G3 Styling Size Ponies Wanted, and/or Fakies
« on: April 11, 2019, 08:30:53 AM »

I'm looking for either a MIB G3 Rainbow Dash styling sized pony. Maybe a Styling Rarity
I'm also interested in the series of G3-style styling sized fakie ponies dollar stores put out around that time. I think they came with smaller ponies as a family unit but I could be wrong. Those don't have to be MIB, just good condition.

Annnnd in case anyone has one lying around, I'm also looking for a Glow In The Dark 10" Smorking Labbit by Kid Robot.

Got one? PM me. Pictures are appreciated. I use Paypal.

Thanks!

Eww who does that? Makes me wonder if they're trying to get rid of leaking ponies?

Forgive my ignorance, but what is a leaking pony? Are ponies melting now? I know they used to get brown cancer spots...

I guess you're right,  I could try selling here. I haven't been active in a long time and no one knows who I am though.

The weirdest pony I've found at a thrift store is what look like a custom, but it wasn't attractive or complete? It was a brush and grow pony with black hair and it was covered in thick brown paint. I took off the paint to see was was underneath. The body looks died or something. And the hair mechanism works! Well, until I broke off the head after peaking inside out of curiosity.
I found a thrift store custom that was clearly done with cheap nail polish. The polish had started to eat the plastic beneath it and simultaneously slough downward along the body to pool at the feet, giving this poor pony a dystopian mutant of the future look.

The original unicorns looked like bee sting victims with their hunchbacks and bulgy arses.

Oooh and I'm always minorly squicked out by eBay sellers who oil their ponies' bodies and hair up all shiny. Why is that a thing? Lube job pony just is not attractive.

i second that with the TLS's. i'm missing some but too afraid to buy them here in New Zealand, they are around $20NZD which is about $13-15USD. which is over priced if you get a double up.

I would but shipping in general is very cost prohibitive these days with international shipping being even more so. On eBay people seem to blame sellers for the high price of shipping and expect them to ship for free or deduct the shipping from the item's price. It gets unpleasant trying to explain that I have no control over shipping prices, that I'm not gouging anyone, heck I don't even charge for packaging/handling.

Ok thank you for the advice. I'll toss the remaining 11 in my time capsule closet and revisit it in a few years lol.
The dolly mix ponies are selling like hotcakes on eBay for me, so I guess I'm pricing them too low but whatever, clearing up space for new and exciting obsessions!

Anybody seen these? They are so weird that I kind of love them. Plus I like how the package becomes a stand for each cat.

Hi all,

Updating this thread to ask about more price checks since I don't want to make a new thread and spam the Corral.

I have an original G1 cassette player from the 80s in working condition, and I haven't seen one of these hit eBay in forever. Any ideas on a price? The only major flaw is that the internal battery compartment has a small chunk missing. This does not impact the cassette player's functionality and doesn't show when the battery cover is closed.

I also have 4 nifty looking G3 prototype ponies (called test shots in the injection mold industry) from my time in Asia. They have mold-marks, no hair holes punched, and no detailing or paint. I saw a G2 prototype head supposedly go for about 50 dollars a while ago, but I can't verify that beyond that a person's selling website claimed it sold. Any thoughts?

Thank you in advance for your advice!
