The Wave 3 Pearly ponies showed up at a few stores. I know I’ve seen them at Big Lots which is also the only place I found the FIM movie story pack sets.

Tuesday Morning seems to have good pony luck, too. It's still strange that none of the large retailers seem to want to carry certain lines.
The FiM story sets have had wonky distribution here.
Taffeta: Were you talking about this girl when you refer to Starbeam Twinkle?

I checked myself a few weeks ago, and it doesn't look like she's too sought after. Which I find odd, because she was a Target exclusive in the states and one of the earlier year ponies.

If Wave 3 pearlies include Meadow Flower and the blue one with a wheat(?) stalk and one with dolphins then yes I've got them at Big Lots and a store out here called Family Dollar. I think I have the whole Wave, I think a pearl version of starlight glimmer too.  I never saw them in walmart or other box stores so I thought I'd missed out, but ya just picked up Meadow Flower last week or so.

Wasn't Starbeam Twinkle released with some playset?  Or am I thinking of the cotton candy symboled pony?

I'm surprised that Starbean Twinkle and Sweetie Swirl (unofficial name) aren't more sought after. I'm guessing because they're not well known and super early releases from playsets? They both used to be expensive in the earlier years.

For the sake of our distribution conversation, all those Target exclusive Canterlot sets (including the Starbeam Twinkle set) were released in Canada at Superstore. This interestingly was before Target opened in Canada. Other toy lines like Monster High Target exclusives did not get released her at all. Once Target opened only they had the Target exclusives and when they closed all their stores 2ish years later Superstore once again started carrying their exclusives.
