Wow some wonderful ponies everyone....okay anyone struggling with one can have a group photo lol

First one that always comes to mind for favourite is Star Hopper! Love this weird alien unicorn.
But she also sits next to Princess Crystal on my shelf, and I absolutely love her too. They might be about even. I'd probably say I like Crystal's appearance more, but I'm very attached to Star Hopper's strangeness despite liking her colours a bit less, and I'd probably like her more as a character I guess.
So yes, together they are my fave space pony friends!
(Can't really get a photo right now though, maybe later)

@ Sparkle Pony - I very much approve of your choice of favourite too! Waterfire is so cool! Easily one of my faves, and maybe even my fave G3.

Edit: Actually, I'll change my answer. SHS Flowerburst. There's something incredibly beautiful to me about the first wave of SHS, and I love her monochromatic color scheme. Icy blue is my favorite, and that rich darker blue with it just works so well! She was the first SHS I'd ever seen, and the second I saw her I knew I had to have her. She also came to me at a pretty tumultuous time in my life, so she will always stay special.

@jocelyn: Sweetheart sister ponies are so pretty! I wish I had one of my own. My sister has one, but she won't let me get my hands on it to restore it since it's her favorite. Flowerburst has a lovely color scheme--I love blue!

Everyone's pictures are so lovely!   My collection is quite new and small, so it's easier to narrow it down.  Right now, my fave is Sparkler.

Well who knows lol...I think a bit of mystery is a good thing matey I'd be a Pirate in a flash if it meant I could share a cabin with a Mr jack sparrow and drink rum all day

After a looong thinking period with "umms..." and "hhmmms...." it ended on baby Ribbon - she was the third pony I bought when I got into ponies after my childhoods. But I have a super soft spot for my childhoods so I'm sure it will change back to them again after a little bit more thought.... She is adorable though - and was always a fav of mine as a kid. But I never got her back then.
