New toys, and white Celestia!

Lyra! I didn't see her earlier. I've always loved Trixie and Lyra's designs the best and have been wanting toys of them for so long and we're finally getting them!

I wonder who all is in the $35 set? For that price, I'm guessing it would have 6 ponies, 7 if there are no accessories. So it could be Lemon Hearts, Flower Wishes, Trixie, Lyra, Nightmare Moon, DJ P0N-3 and since they're standing near them, probably Pinkie and Dash.

I am pretty sure Lyra will NOT be part of that set. She was on a completely different shelf.

That doesn't necessarily mean anything. Last year the LPS shelves weren't set up properly and several of the sets were mixed together. This was especially true with the Blythe sets, where pets from another set would be put with the wrong doll. Was Lyra even by any other ponies? It just seems weird they'd release her alone. I mean, if she was part of a singles wave, wouldn't there be other new ponies sitting with her?

She pointed to all the ponies of the shelf except for Celestia and Zecora and said it would be one package. (34.99)




But really, I don't see why she would be on the opposite end. The rep would was veeery excited to point her out. So I'd imagine if she was part of the TRU exclusives, she'd be sititng with the other ones. *shrug*

That Lyra is SO gorgeous!! Also looks like she WILL be seperate on account of those schmedlings beside her - it seems to me that she will come with those things in a pack of her own. And that the Mane 6 might be reproduced (again) with those new accessories.

*puts on glasses*  Are those 2 on the steps of the castle new babies?  I think I see Scoots in there by the staircase, but the other 2 look brand new   And as much as I am not hugely thrilled that ponies from the show are making it in, I have to say....I'm loving Heartstrings!  I love minty green, so I definitely will  be picking her up.  Awww and the envelopes!  They're so small and cute   As for the new pic of Cadance and Shining Armor, I am really loving SA's snoot.  I'm not too keen on those wide snoots on ponies like Big Macintosh.  This one seems perfect, to me at least.  I just kinda wish they would sell SA separately as well as in the set.  I'd love to customize one, but it wouldn't be worth buying two $40-something castles just to get my hands on two SA's

I'll keep my comments about attention given to bronies vs collectors to myself as not to further derail the thread. Besides, new ponies are much more exciting than debating anyway. I am SO happy to see a Nightmare Moon! As with boy ponies, I honestly thought it would never happen. Loving Zecora too. (And omg, she GLOWS? Kinda weird, but if you're going to make a glowing pony, Zecora is a good choice...and its cool to see a pony that has a special feature. The new line seems to be sorely lacking that, when the G1s had so many!) White Celestia is also very nice I'm not a big fan of Vinyl Scratch...DJ Pon-something-or-other...but all the others are pretty nice. I'm seeing a very refreshing lack of pink, as well. And I'm happy that there might be flower girls who aren't the CMC after all. Yaaay!

So, we've got a brushable Nightmare Moon and Heartstrings/Lyra...now all we need is a Roseluck and I can die happy
