I am conducting research FOR SCIENCE and wanted to see what the community's favorite G1 poses are (not including specialty poses like the Secret Surprise ponies or modified molds like the D&P's that were turned into earthlings). I'll post a separate poll for each of the 3 main species. I'm limiting votes to one each per species but please do feel free in comments to say if you have any thoughts or had to choose between two favorites.
I'm giving poses names based on really common ponies in that pose, not on "official" community-given names so people who aren't familiar with the poses but know the ponies will have an easier time of it!
Also please let me know if I missed any because I don't brain good sometimes.

I love the Posey pose! I've been mulling over trying to collect all the non-nirvana ponies in the pose :-)

I seem to like a lot of ponies in the Sugarberry pose. Not so much for the pose itself, just a lot of my favorite G1 Earth ponies just so happen to be in it, such as Tic-Tac-Toe, Pillow Talk, and Stardancer. I also really like the Posey pose a lot, that would likely be my second favorite.

This one will require some greater thought. I suspect it may be the shy pose but I need more time to consider as only one choice is allowed.
I could more easily answer which one I like least, which would be the Collector Pose...

There isn't one that I dislike, I want a version of each. I put Bubbles. Bubbles herself is one of my favorite ponies and the pose is adorable even if she can't wear shoes.

I love the Posey pose, but something about the Crumpet pose just wins me over.

Again: torn between Posey and Bowtie, but chose Posey in the end as that is Night Glider's pose :)

Oh, I forgot that pose. No, that would be my least favourite. Again, moulded hooves *shakes head* Not a hit with me.
Still can't decide on my favourite though :/

Posey, I love her pose. And I like the way they display.

I'd say Posey pose which I loved in Posey herself as well as in Melody and Starlight from MLPT because of how dynamic it looks, but I also like the Bow Tie pose becuase of how cute Sundance looks in it.

hmmmm…. I chose the bubbles pose (gotta love a sitting horse) but sugarberry is such a nice trotting beauty.

I think the Bowtie and Crumpet poses are very cute for earth ponies, they both look a bit shy. You can kind of only display them one way though.
I picked Bowtie because I like the headsculpt a little more.

I think Bowtie and Crumpet's pose are my favorite Earth pony poses but since I can only choose one, I'll pick Bowtie. :)

For some reason, I've always liked Sugarberry pose a lot! Collector's pose was my favourite when I first started collecting a few years back, it's just so cute and simple and I love their little smiles :P

Mine is Glory pose I guess, even if Posey is quite close after.
Oh, earthling... well, that's Posey for sure. :D

bubbles is my all time fav pose, its so different and so sweet. also has sentimental memory's

I really love the Crumpet pose as well.
I'm wondering who my fellow Tootsie pose lover is? So many lovely ponies in this pose. I know there is something that a lot of people don't like about this pose (to do with the neck?) but I can't really see it...
