Title: Ponies and pindot mold
Post by: DemureGirl on February 12, 2012, 12:26:37 PM
I am new to collecting but am beginning to notice something odd. I have three Applejacks and all three have had terrible pindot mold. While I have five Poseys and all have been completely free. The Applejacks are infact the only ones that have awful pindot mold all over their bodies.

Is it just a coinsidence?

I'm pretty sure its usually just ingrained dirt and its never been found to be mold. I guess AJ just liked playing outside more.

If you are looking to help get rid of pindot, oxybaths work very well! :)

Agreed. Oxy clean boils and antibacterial soap after you've boiled (or just bathed) 'em!

I had a pindot problem with one of the ponies I recently bought so, a little bath in vinigar and baking soda followed by a short bleach soak and a scrub with a magic eraser sent that stuff packing. Plus, the bleach really brought back the white on the pony body. I don't know if this is the usual way of fixing it but it worked for me. I hope that you can get your applejack's looking good as new  .
