Title: Pony hair + whiteout- how to fix?
Post by: Glacia471 on January 26, 2012, 01:12:11 PM
So this pony I got in the mail today has mass amounts of whiteout in her tail :yikes: I'm about to go see if regular warm/hot water helps, but wanted to ask if anyone else has had to deal with this and if they know of better ways to remove it :awake:

Any help would be appreciated :lovey:

is whiteout just like liquid paper? If so then I got it out of a stuffed animals fur with hot water and some dish soap and then a fine comb to get any remaining bits.

Hot water does help, and so does regular conditioner surprisingly enough :whoa: I wish I had tried conditioner when I first started because it made it slide off her hair a lot easier (granted it's still a pain :throw: ). I've gotten most of it out now :good:

Oh gosh, that's awful. D: I would probably try some hot water and dish soap and if no results, then conditioner. Let it sit for a little bit with the conditioner in and it should slide some of it off rather easily.

That's a weird thing to cover a pony in o.O I don't think it would be too hard to get out though. Hot water and conditioner ought to do it, like others said!

@ Lemontwist- I know, right? Especially in her tail/hair   It's all over her NDS too but I'm just more concerned with cleaning up her tail :drunk:

Hi Glacia!  Any luck?  Did it come out?  I have red wax clumps stuck in a pony's hair right now:(  Sometimes I wish these ponies could tell me their sad stories, but I imagine that they were once very loved!
