I had to box up my ponies...Roommate can't stand them, and she kept opening the window that shines a ton of sunlight right on my display. I'm sick of the eye rolls and I'm not risking my collection being destroyed.

I don't think so, sadly. She finds them childish and a little creepy (she's 17 years old and a freshman in college, so everything is about drinking, parties, boys, and clothes, no time for silly hobbies like mine).

That really stinks. If it were me it would be out with the roommate not out with the ponies Actually if you are in student housing you can ask them to find you a different roommate- it might take a semester and you might have to move to another location in the building  but chances are they can find you a better match Just tell them shes to much of a party animal and you would like someone a bit mellower.

Goshhh no luck in thriftshops this week, went to a lot of them. So I got myself some g4s and got them wrapped like a present, for myself

I am sad to hear this some roomies just don't understand and that is terrible and childish the way she is acting.
