What is the highest number of customs have you worked on at once?

I'm finally getting work done on my customs for Midwestria.  Nothing like leaving things til the last minute!  I've got an insane number of customs in progress on my desk right now.  Seriously, I'm almost embarrassed to admit how many are being worked on at the moment (30) and the deadline is next Thursday.

Please, ease my poor mind and let me know I'm not the only one crazy enough to take on this many customs at once!  What's the most you've worked on at one time?  Did you have an insanely close deadline and, more importantly, did you make it?

Standard for me is about 5-6 at once, I've had 10+ going before though.

Right now I've got ..... 18 customs/restorations going >.> all in various stages, some that I haven't worked on for months

I usually work on 3-6 customs at once.
As long as the paint is drying from Custom Nr. I can start rehairing of custom Nr.2 ... so I go on every time.

I always have more than 20 projects going on at once   - many of those require several sessions of sculpting before anything else can be done to them so that is my excuse for their being so many lol

Ive had about 12 going at once, but now I stick to under 10, try too, but have a couple sitting here ive not touched in over 6 months!!

I've worked on five at once.  It wasn't cool though, because some would be ready to move on to the next step and others would need more coats of paint.

I'm actively working on 3 right now, but I'm taking a tiny "break" from those and work on 10 customs (all clones) at once .

Not counting the baits I have prepped and waiting, last week, I was working on 7.  Two of them, I managed to put on hold until the others got finished, one of them just got finished about an hour ago, and I should have a second one done sometime tonight.  Unfortunately, I think I'm going to have to wait on some out of stock hair to come in to finish one, and might need more Deadly Nightshade to finish another.  The last one I'm currently actively working on has another couple of days' work to go.  It's hard being a customizer, but someone has to do it!

I try not to have more than about 3-5, because I get overwhelmed really easily. Right now I have three I'm actively working on and several that have been on the back burner for quite a long time.

I have 3 painted right now and need to order some hair for them.  Oh i almost forgot i have another gen 1 who needs a new tail.

I try to never give deadlines, I work 2 jobs so I have a very small amount of time to work on my ponies, I try to keep everyone informed with work in progress reports and pics. I think I have had maybe 1 deadline that I agreed to but he gave me 6 months to complete in time.
I did have 21 but just finished 3 at the moment I am currently working on 18 commissions and 5 non commissions so 23 in total.

I can only handle like, two at a time. Any more than that, my motivation goes on strike and my creativity curls into a ball and whimpers in the corner of my brain. There are also a high number of unfinished customs that I sincerely do want to complete one day, but the more time goes on, the bigger the pile gets

I guess 3 to 5 is the maximum number I can actively work on and still keep myself motivated. I may have other, non-active projects in addition to that, though. For example, I still have this one custom sitting on my shelf that I started in 2010... He requires quite a bit of sculpting and since he's not for a swap or anything, I'm concentrating on more urgent projects instead. I think he'll turn out better in the end if I only return to him when I actually feel like it and don't force myself.

Right now I have three active projects: one commission and two swap customs. They're all in the sculpting stage. I should add one more soon, she'll be painted only.

I usually have between 2-6 active projects at a time, I do have a few others that are started on but have not been actively worked on for awhile. Depending on how much work I have to put into the customs I am working on I may or may not work on others while working on those. I like to have time to enjoy and "bond" with the pieces I make so I try not to take on too many things at once or else I feel like I can't get that "bonding" time with the custom.
