Did they make MLP Plush MOC in the 80's in Brasil?
« on: October 02, 2012, 05:48:01 PM »
Okay I don't want to break any rules but I am seeing plush like 1980's ponies from Brasil I think...Blossom, Minty, and Cotton Candy...they are MOC though...and they look plush.  Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?  They look nothing like our 1980s plush ponies at all.

If I recall correctly, Stickles were available there? They are actually smaller then 80's plushies and are in fact only half a plush pony that's sticky on one side so you can stick it to something as ornamentation.

I thought I remember them being there but I'm not certain, maybe ask over in the Nirvana forum?

Yes, these are from "Os Fofinhos" series (I have no idea how to translate it into english). Only four of them were produced, CottonCandy, Minty, Buttherscotsch and Bluebelle.

Yes that is what I saw they are so pretty to me. I wonder how big they are?  Does anyone have one of these?  I really like them.

they are about 2 1/2 inches (maybe a bit smaller then a regular g1 baby) in height and really slim.
I saw my first one in person about a month ago in my friends collection :D

Seriously..they are that tiny? Wow they sound even more appealing to me now as I love little things.  My chances of ever finding those though on a site I can understand and purchase from is about zero lol.

You should check out Nirvana forum - they are not too expensive $25-40 MOC depending on the seller and which pony and they do turn up often enough for sale.

I have Butterscotch and I love her. They are flat however rather than out and out plushies...
