Exciting news!

Backstory first: In my local newspaper, I saw an article about someone getting featured for their Care Bear collection. There was an email and a phone number at the end of the article for anyone to send information to the writer to get their collection featured. I reached out a few days later and the lady wanted to feature me.

I was able to get a confirmed date and time this afternoon! I am so excited to be featured in my newspaper for my My Little Pony Collection. I am working on the questions I will be asked on the day of the interview currently. I will update this thread when I can. Stay tuned!

Confirmed date is January 3rd, 2025 at 1:00 pm.

Today the photographer and the writer came by and did their business.

The photographer showed up first and was stunned at my pony collection! She took a few photos of the stuff I had on my parents' dinning room table. She asked me anything else I had and said I have the ponies in my bedroom. The photographer got a couple of cool photos in my bedroom of me.

After that, the writer showed up and looked at the dining room table and bedroom. The writer was stunned at how much stuff I had! She asked me lots and lots of questions and followup questions. I made sure I explained my answers the best I could.

My article will be in my local area this upcoming Thursday. My back was tired from standing for so long and I am tired enough from loss of sleep this week from this dumb flu/cold I got Sunday. I will have the link to the page next week!

It is 9 pm and I just remembered I have a link for my article! It was in my local newspaper this morning. My friends told me they saw it (from other friends) and some staff at my high school said they saw my article! I brought the paper copy to school with me to show my friends today. My mom put the link to the article on her Facebook page today too!
