So—I have a zoo membership as always, and I told my friend if she wanted to go to the zoo I would get her in free (I am allowed one guest) if she’d drive there.  She agreed.  She likes the zoo as much as I do!  So we went one more time and I was able to get a few pics I wanted to get that I wasn’t able to Tuesday.  So here they are!  : D

Here’s a bat pic!  Not great, but at least you can see the bats—short-tailed fruit bats.  I think.  SOME kind of little fruit bat anyway.  I wanna hold one!  Silverspell did too.  Cameo thought they were amazing creatures.

We visited the butterfly and insect pavilion—butterflies everywhere, and insect behind glass.  They used to have huge orbweavers outside of cages, with huge webs, in the insect section, but I haven’t seen them in ages.  I think they must have freaked too many people out.

In the cat complex, the tigers were being a bit active, and they were gorgeous!!  Also got some other cat pics.

So today was Traveller—that’s the name of the sci-fi campaign that I play once a month with several friends—this campaign has been going on for at least three years, maybe a bit more.  Their little ones were still toddlers.  Now they’re getting freaking TALL!

I forgot to get pics of them though.  D:  Yeesh.

They investigated the cupcakes that Shauna brought…and then JR’s dice box, and my own little RPG case.

Here’s Martin, the GM (the guy who runs the game and the plots—short for “game master”), who posed the girls on top of his GM scareen—Traveler-themed, of course.  It’s set up so the players can’t see the GM’s plans and evil plots.

Cameo took an injury during the game (damned conqueror aliens—the Zodani declared war during this game!) but our captain was able to fix it:

I got my fellow players to pose with the two, and they were all agreeable…they’re the coolest bunch of roleplayers I have ever roleplayed with.  C: C: C:  And they’re awesome friends. 

First Shauna (a gunner—quite trigger happy), then Lisa (another gunner), then Sky (medic), who is Drew’s wife.  (Those two are the ones who own the house we play in) and then J.R., an ex-Imperial Navy Engineer.  (I’m the sensors guy—and the only non-human except for the android—I’m a lizard-like, winged being called a Droyne)

They enjoyed the game a lot…and the others liked having guests.  Lisa in particular thought they were adorable!

When we got home that night, several of my own ponies who weren’t busy decided to give the girls a farewell party.  There were streamers, and balloons, and Pin the Tail on the Pony. 

First, they got on stage for everyone to applaud, while Baby Frosting investigated the cake, and my herd guardian, Comet, watches over the gathering:
