Okay,
I'm used to extremely slow shipping, random hank sizes, the occasional messed up order and Tinas terrible communication, but what I am not used to is receiving horrible knotted ratty hanks. :mad:

That was the one thing I always thought DollyHair had, because every hank I had ordered before this last order, while it may have been the wrong color, the quality of the hair was ALWAYS wonderful.

So I decided to take up her special of 5 random hanks for 10, I bought two sets of them. That order came today and when I opened up the box I was shocked! I didn't just get one of these awful hanks I got 6 of the nasty same color things!!

Now granted she did throw in one extra free hank, but considering it only weighted 4 grams and is the puniest hank I have ever seen (seriously couldn't do a G4 with it) I don't really think it makes up for it.

Seriously, I don't know what to do with these nasty things. I do plan on sending her a email, and I'm sure she will say thats not supposed to happen (if she even replies) but the replacement hanks will never come and I will never hear back from her on the subject again.

Has anyone else experienced this problem before or is it just me who the lucky first one? And what the heck do I do with them? I spent over an hour trying to brush one and got no where. :huh:

How does something like that even happen?!
Good gosh DH has bee slipping, but how on earth is that an acceptable product to send out to a customer?!

Wow. I've never had a hank come to me like that... sometimes they seem a little... "sticky" at the cut ends, but I sort of expect that. That looks like it got completely bunched while coming through the "spooler" or whatever it is that she uses... and someone just bagged it and sent it. She has assistants so it's not always HER that is doing it personally and on purpose. It could be something that someone did and slipped under her radar...

I haven't had an issue with DH but I ordered a few weeks ago and everything was great. I've personally had no complaints... :blush: I am SO sorry that that happened, but don't give up all hope that she won't send you replacements or anything. Personally I would hope she would without fail and quickly, but I can't speak to whether that would truly happen or not... :huh:

Jeeeeeez. She definitely needs to be informed, because that's not okay.
I'm sure she will say thats not supposed to happen (if she even replies) but the replacement hanks will never come and I will never hear back from her on the subject again.

Oh my goodness, what a mess!  Keep us updated, for sure. O_o  I've seen dolls that are 100's of years old with wigs that aren't brushable have a better set than that.  My goodness. . .

You can search back threads, but Tina has a history if very poor customer service.

All I can say is wow that is some awful hair! I got hair ages ago before gigs or really bad. Some of it had knots but nothing like that. Email her of course, and if I didn't hear back I would keep emailing her.

I would treat it as any other transaction and that item is def not as described. Email and stay within your 45 day window. Try to get her to let you return it, get a replacement or money back. If nothin works and you go ignored to the 45 day mark open a case.

I have hair packs that look like that *after* I've been pulling hair out of them etcetc and that's the leftover!

That is awful. Looks like the weight issue hasn't been addressed like she said it would be either if you got a 4g hank.

Even an assistant would know that is not what is meant to be being sent out.

I'd ask for a 50% refund and if she fails to actually do it, file through paypal for goods significantly not as described.

Something similar happened to me but my package was damaged in the mail. It got caught up in the rollers and destroyed several of the hanks. Tina got back to me quickly and she did replace them even though it wasn't her fault and she wasn't really obligated to do so. So, I'd say don't give up on a happy and peaceful resolution. :)

it looks like it was packed with a very annoyed cat :S  and did you say that 6 of 10 "random" colours were all the same? that's lame!

I didn't think about the actual mail rollers at the post. Those things are TERRIBLE about ruining things in flat envelopes... it could be the case for those.

Seconding the fact that it's lame you got 6 hanks of diarrhea brown... :huh: (okay, lol it's not that bad, but kinda looks like it since it's all frizzed up!)
