FYI..this seller has had issues in the past.  So it at this point that it is rather disappointing that she considered this not to be something worth not mentioning. I understand that Mexican ponies are known to have issues but a haircut like that is rather hard to miss.

Wow! That is a pretty severe haircut- shame on her for trying to hide it- there is no excuse for not mentioning THAT- and you cannot see it in the pic at all.

I don't know how bad you want the pony- but if you are unhappy she definitely owes you a refund!!

I took her offer. I'm not completely happy with this, but I wanted to keep the pony. I'm not sure what to do with feedback now. She appologized for the delay in shipping and she sent me a small refund. As an alternative she offered a return for a full refund.

So, can I still give her a neutral or do I have to give a positive for that? (I'd rather give her no feedback at all than a positive one.)

At least I learned two things from this:

1. In the future I will ask all the questions that come to my mind when buying a pony with a three word description.
2. I won't buy anything from this person again. Never ever!

I'd leave a neutral - at least - she scammed you twice! Delayed shipping, and intentionally (or so it would seem) hid a major flaw! And then lowballed your refund! grrr... I'll be adding her to my list!

I completely agree with Stormness_1!!
A ponies hair is so important, to me that is like half the ponies value. I would have been furious! And if you compare the two pictures, it almost looks like two different ponies, she obviously went out of her way hiding that haircut..!

I would also like to know the sellers name..

And personally, I wouldnt even think about leaving positive. She totally lowballed you with that 5 GBP.

Normally I am with you and would leave no feedback at all rather than a neutral when I'm dissatisfied-  but this is a pretty bad case.  She clearly hid a very major flaw in the picture, didn't mention it at all in the description, didn't apologize or offer a refund- and then conceded to a very small partial refund.

So in this case-  I would be tempted to leave a neutral, if only to warn other buyers of something to look out for.  Asking questions about tiny flaws is one thing-  I don't think you should be expected to ask if there is a MAJOR flaw that the seller has intentionally hidden in the photo :(

That is sad that she tried to hide the haircut and denied it later.  I was tempted by this pony and still think she's gorgeous.  But no one wants to pay full price for a damaged pony.  That isn't fair at all.

I agree, neutral feedback.  Be honest as to WHY and make sure you mark her stars appropriately.  :(

Thank you all for your advice! I left a neutral now. I hope she won't send me any threatening messages or give me a negative now. I just want to put an end to this transaction.

Well luckily sellers can't give buyers negative or neutral feedback so you don't have to worry about that. So sorry that this has happened to you and I hope that you can enjoy your new pony even though she's not quite in the state that you would have liked.

If she sends any rude messages, just contact Ebay and forward the messages to them.  She's not allowed to behave in such a  way.

I think you did the right thing leaving a neutral feedback for her :bigups:    If she sends you threatening messages then you can report her to ebay, but hopefully you wont hear from her again.  She cant leave any bad feedback for you, so there is no need to worry about that ;)

Good for you for being brave-  I hope she wasn't rude to you about it, but I agree there is nothing she can do.  Maybe she will think twice about hiding a major flaw like that again.  Her behavior was pretty reprehensible.

I haven't heard anything from her since I left the neutral. I'm quite relieved about that.
