Bizarre factory error G1 Sea Pony??

Okay... I totally just got the most bizarre looking sea pony I have ever seen....

The head appears to still be factory sealed onto the body, it's still glued down, and the hair appears to be some sort of white yarnish stuff...

I have never had a sea pony, and this thing is freaking me out o.0

the picture doesn't show it well, but the body is like a bright salmon pink and is slightly translucent with teal marks on the fins. The head is a clear translucent white

It's just a watercolor baby sea pony! She's normal... they get discolored over the years.

That looks like a watercolor baby sea pony that's been in the bath a few too many times. My own childhood one got like that too.

That I don't know, unfortunately. I know I don't care if they look like that, but I don't know what the general opinion is.

To be honest different coloured heads and bodies are reasonably common for Watercolour babies - as others have said their colour changing properties stop working with time and exposure and end up "freezing" in a certain shade.

Personally I wouldnt say she is bait worthy but she is your pony to do as you wish of course.

Her eye and fin markings look great. Why don't you try and sell her if you hate her so much? :/ I know I'd snap her up if I had the money, she's adorable.

I believe she is SeaLight baby watercolor. She had two poses.

to add... I've seen them in better condition selling for about $12 - $20 on Ebay.
