I almost used this one...but ended up not liking it. It's unedited so you can see the thumb of the "dress" I used. I have no doll clothes that are holiday themed at all, so I had to improvise. I used a miniature mitten (I got it from Starbucks a few years ago, it's meant for a gift card to be inside) and used a hair tie as a "belt". Then just used some photo magic to clean up the thumb of the mitten. Voila! Holiday dress!

I totally had one ofher!! She was one of my favorites. I loved her hat.

I didn't much care till they popped up EVERYWHERE. My cousin was obsessed as well as most people around me. I'm just tired of seeing them all over everything, everywhere. My cousin even got three different mustaches tattooed on her first three fingers. Ugh. I tried so hard to talk her out of that. I know she won't care about mustaches in 2 years, but she will have them forever.

I participated in the Newbie Swap and as you may have seen in Maniah's thread the idea was to take an older gen pony and make it a newer gen. My wonderful partner was Salli. She listed the g1 boys as one of her top ponies - Tex being her possible favorite - and I knew I had to tackle Tex. It was my first time doing a boy, so it took me forever to be satisfied with his feet. The rest was pretty straight forward though and I'm pretty happy with how he ended up.

Tex started as a G3 Pretty Pop. I used sculpey for his feet, regular acrylic paints and hair from dollyhair (Forget Me Not & Heart Throb). I also found a member who used to sell replacement & G3 bandanas and added it as the final touch! Now on to the pics! (Please forgive my shotty photos, I have only my cellphone to work with and it doesn't pickup a lot of color/textures.)

Closeup of his eyes & symbol, I am super happy with how they came out. Being that he was a FBR, I was realllllllllllllllly nervous I'd mess up and have to repaint everything. I only slightly flubbed a few spots though!

Omg Maniah!!! She is *adorable*!!!!! I lovvvvve her! I'm sorry I didn't post sooner, I go to work right as the mail gets to our complex and didn't get it until late last night after I got off. I can't get my phone to upload properly to flickr so you can totally post pics! Once I can get the silly app to work I'll post my brag pic on the brag thread. =D

Sent mine out last night (though it went out for shipping this morning). Now starts the nervous waiting for my partner to get it and to see if they like my work. lol ^_^;;
